Wrong team selection for starters. I know we’ve had this type of football served up for a long time now but even taking that into account it was a shocking display. Our time in the Prem is up and this team should now be ripped apart and start again. It’s really tough to highlight any player on a terrible performance but if Westwood kicks a ball in anger for Burnley again it will be a day too soon. The rest of them weren’t much better and Dyche has to take a big portion of the blame for that shambles

We all know Dyche's brand of football makes you want to donate your corneas, but I'm now going to say something I never thought I'd have to. His team, this season, are a bunch of bottlers. Our chin couldn't be weaker.

Dyche - pathetic and mind boggling that the few performances of our entire season where our midfield looks good (forget the 2 wins and clean sheets that came from them) with Cork and Brownhill, yet Westwood who’s been p*** poor all season gets straight back in, and we deliver another predictably rubbish performance. Fuming.

Pope 6
Roberts 6 great delivery on multiple occasions - ridiculous he didn’t get an assist.
Tarks 6
Collins 5 unfortunate - need Mee back now…
Taylor 6
Lennon 6 quiet today although that’s because we didn’t get him into the best positions.
Westwood 4 another poor one - can’t understand the channels obsession.
Brownhill 6
McNeil 6 another bad miss won’t do his confidence any good.
Weghorst 5 wouldn’t stick today but we need to play it to feet.
Cornet 6 our best player today apart from a bad miss.
Jay 6 unlucky

Just my opinion based on our performances against our relegation rivals. I've watched us away at Newcastle, Leeds, and now Brentford turning in the most rancid performances where our players look terrified to take the ball on and some responsibility.

The lack of leadership I've seen has been incredibly alarming from a manager who's talked so much in the past about character and strong jaws.

Pope 6- The save in the first half down low was very good
Roberts 5- Backs off too much and poor throw ins
Tarks 7- Has the odd erratic moment but he was pretty colossal today.
Collins 6- Was decent today but moment of madness for the red.
Taylor 5- They caught him out with that long switch out wide far too many times.

McNeil 5- Still Flattering to deceive.
Westwood 4- Summed up everything bad about us, no composure, no finesse, no football, just knocked poor ball after poor ball forwards.
Brownhill 6- Thought he did okay today in a poor team performance.
Lennon 5- Not really in the game.

Wout 5- We just aren't playing to his strengths at all.
Cornet 6- Lot of effort and offered an outlet but poor composure in key areas.

Dyche 3- His unwillingness to change tactics and personal is a big factor in why we lost the game.

Pope 6 kept us in the game 1st half with a great stop
Roberts 4 wrong option nearly every time, poor delivery too
Tarky 5 meh
Collins 4 as above but panicked
Taylor 6 OK, some great recovery when McNeil neglected him
Lennon 5
Westwood 3 aimless ball after aimless ball into no one
Brownhill 4 zero composure even with time
McNeil 3 WTF does he offer, can't shoot, run, cross and now we can add head, should not have started
Cornet 4 poor, looked like no pace or skill, powder puff
Weghorst 5 6 foot 6 but jips 6 foot 2, rightly hooked

Jay Rod 6 a bright spark, no coincidence once he is out we look clueless in the final 3rd, no brains up top, don't look dangerous

Dyche 3, Brentford were horrible today, and yet we lost it ourselves.
I could have kept goal today for Brentford, did their GK touch the ball

Ps our set plays are horrendous

Pope 6 nothing to do
Taylor 4 poor
Collins 4 (would've been 8 for him and Tarky had it ended 0-0)
Tark 4 left Toney unmarked for some odd reason
Roberts 4 I like him but I'm not exactly sure what I like? because he doesn't do much offensively, you can see why he had all those assists in the Championship, he's under instruction to lay it back constantly.
Mcneil 5 old Mcneil would've had that slow CB at RB (Ajer) on absolute toast 2 years ago. I guess Mcneil put in 4x more crosses than Lennon though.
Lennon 3 didn't shoot once, 0 crosses from memory, 0 dangerous passes played, everytime he got the ball, he took the safe option, lay it back for someone else to cross. Just allowed Eriksen to cross for the goal.
Westwood 0 pathetic excuse of a footballer atm, panic panic panic, Westwood syndrome is riddling this squad.
Brownhill 4 quiet today and poor in possession.
Weghorst 4 we all know he's not good in the air, so why do we only hoof it towards him? Seriously what chance does he have of doing anything? He's come off the pitch having not had even a half chance to swing his leg at.
Cornet 4 worked hard, he's not a striker, he's not a striker in hoof ball, almost every time he had the ball he had to beat 2 or 3 men on his own. -1 for the miss.

Far too much kick and rush "football" , why can we play good stuff one week and not the next? If i was Pace id get down to Barnfield and see what the hell goes on down there, very worrying indeed.

For the love of god Dwight practice with your right foot please.

Pope 6 - Couple of good saves, couple of rash decisions.
Roberts 4 - I really don’t rate this lad. Worst right back we’ve had since Darikwa.
Tarkowski 7
Collins 6 - Minus 1 for stupid red card
Taylor 5 - In bad form, doesn’t look fit.
Lennon 5
Westwood 4 - Nowhere near it.
Brownhill 6
McNeil 4 - Just not offering enough.
Cornet 4 - Not convinced by him in the slightest, starting to look rather ambivalent towards what’s going on around him as well.
Weghorst 4 - Started well for us but has been quite uninvolved in recent games. Offers very little threat.

From what I seen on TV which granted can be massively different, all the midfield and defence were launching it high and was they to to take it Fownhope with his height and lay it off to bring others in to play the problem for me was we played Westy who laughed an up and over every time, where as when Cork played in our better performances he held and let Brownhill drive forward from a 5 yard pass from him .

I think you might look at this differently when you watch it back CT. Weghorst was our o ly player trying to bring play down to our strengths and playing others in, the commentators were astonished he had been hooked
I won’t

Pope 7 - didn't do a lot wrong, watching on tv, for the penalty, Toney's first touch was poor and I was screaming at Pope to rush out for the ball but seeing the replay, he'd just taken a step back so would have been a bit flat footed.
Roberts 5 - for me he's ok and better than Lowton but nothing special.
Taylor 5 - big gap between him and their winger, particularly in the first half. Would imagine this is the system rather than his positional sense.
Tarkowski - 7 made a lot of last ditch tackles and always puts his body on the line with blocks (most in Premier league this season I heard on the commentary today) but there has to be something in between needlessly putting the ball out of play and trying to be Franz Beckenbauer.
Collins - 6 he's not a good footballer (yet) but he's a decent defender. Looks very uncomfortable on the ball. Dont get people slating him for the penalty. If he doesn't make a challenge and the ball is put in the net, he gets slated for not trying.
Westwood 3 - I read a comment a few weeks ago saying what's the point of him, he neither protects the back four or supports the attack. This is spot on for me. Plays that long ball up the channel that comes off once a blue moon and occasionally plays the same ball only shorter and at an angle (think it's called a cross) which he does quite well but we rarely have controlled possession that far up the pitch for it to be effective.
Brownhill - 5 has improved as a player and grafts hard but I'm not convinced about him as a footballer. Doesn't pass the ball well, doesn't score and doesn't create. As a modern day midfielder, what else is there? Ok you could argue that you need someone to break the play up but that used to mean your partner could play a bit. What does he do when he wins the ball, give it to Westwood?
Mcneill - 4 nearly gave him a 3 but I'm fond of Dwight and can't recall for some time a player this short on confidence. Not sure if it's better to pull him out of the firing line or let him play himself back into form. Often dithers on the ball too long and makes the wrong decisions. Nothing better than seeing him wrap his foot round the ball tight to the touchline and producing amazing crosses but it's been a while.
Lennon - 4 did nothing wrong for me today and has been in great form lately. But why was he so anonymous today?
Weghorst - 6 intelligent player and great at holding the ball up. Seems to be getting frustrated at the fouls he's penalised for. Hasn't had a lot of chances since his arrival to be fair. Unsure why he was hooked today.
Cornet - 5 two really good chances and at this stage, you've gotta take at least one of those. Did look the best he has since the African Nations but that's not saying much. He can't beat a man, not great at holding the ball up and doesn't seem to have the best footballing brain. Maybe just tell him to shoot every time he gets the ball within 30 yards of goal. Cant deny the quality of the goals in his honeymoon spell but did he offer anything else even back then? God I hope he makes me eat these words.
Rodriguez - 5 great effort from 30 yards and you can only win so many balls that come down with snow on them.

A game I expected us to win. A proper Burnley game and it was there for the taking.
First post on here so some of the comments are generalised of what I think of the player but most of them play the same every week anyway!

Wow some really harsh scores there. 5 for TRkowski? Really?

I'm not going to rate I till I've got over the disappointment because that was a kick in the teeth (felt like the Leicester game but at least they'd looked like scoring)

Disappointed with Westy and Dwights distribution - especially dead balls and don't get me started on Cornets inability to have a proper go one on one

Pope 5 no chance goals
Roberts 5 no lack of commitment but ..
Collins 5 thought he was very assured till sent off
Tarkowski 7 good at times but sloppy too
Taylor 5 decent blocks
Lennon 5 a bit cautious today
Westwood 3 time please ! A liability
Brownhill 5 huffed n puffed
McNeil 3 shouldn’t be anywhere near the prem
Cornet 5 missed good chance lively
Weghorst 5 just slow the odd knock down

Rodriguez 6 great effort and should start

We were controlling the 2nd half then they score from a sweet Erickson cross . Far too late late by then , but some awful crossing and a non existent mid made this painful
