To take away the torture of the Premier League for a little while we can enjoy a festival of racing this week from Cheltenham and have a go in the ever popular Nap League.

This is free to enter and has no prize money but comes with the prestige of finishing on top of a league of fellow horse minded folk who claim to know a thing or two about the sport.

The rules are relatively simple.

Pick one horse from each race starting in the 1.30pm on Tuesday through to the final race on Friday. One horse each day should be marked as your 'Nap'.

You start at a virtual +/-£0. For every loser you are deducted £1 and each winner will increase your score by the SP. If your Nap wins the SP will double.

Non runners will count as losers.

Please make your selections before the start of racing each day or as far in advance as you wish.

I will complete a league table at some time each evening.
