Pogba house robbery

Paul Pogba’s house was burgled while his children were at home sleeping while he played against Atletico last night.
Can imagine there must’ve been a nanny/security there for the children but that must be terrifying for the whole family.

You would think that the money these boys earn they would have 24 hour security, crazy, none the less you don't want scrotes breaking in and robbing you, whoever you are.

I know what you mean but it’s odd how we always automatically think straight away ‘in what way can we blame the victim’ myself included.

There's a lot of truth in that.
I was angry with myself when I was burgled because I'd left a window open but Pogba (and all of us for that matter) ought to be able to leave our houses open without fear of this kind of deplorable instance happening. It's a sad indictment of society.

It’s not victim blaming it’s horrible & completely wrong getting burgled in every shape & form & shouldn’t happen in a civilised society. That said it’s not a surprise so many people are getting targeted because too many people are blabbing stuff on social media coupled with crap security it’s a recipe for getting burgled & dreamland for potential thieves, the idea is to make it difficult for them so you don’t get robbed.

Pretty sure the Police will be onto this in numbers, the Insurance Company with many staff, The Media will chase this ...help sort this...
I get my house robbed. Totally Nothing!!!
No Police.
Insurance fought every inch and pound not to pay out.
I'm careful. I do what I can to protect.
Posting regularly open images of vast wealth - (esp' when many are equating that wealth with very little effort given to earn it..) a quick check of the fixture list states when he is away.
To not at the very least have measures in place, especially where money to do this is no issue. Stupid.
It's not like this has not happened many many times players
The Robbers are ****. No debate.
Pogba is brainless - to many of his actions.
He'll get more help than I ever did...

They should hire a couple of bouncer-types who don't mind a bit of risk for high reward. Then give them instructions that when there are children present, they are to take no chances at all with intruders. Treat intruders as potential kidnappers and use severe force - and they will be provided, if necessary, with the best barristers to defend them.

It’s not rocket science to ring fence the property with 2 well trained German shepherds a few cameras & good reinforced doors & locks a safe & more importantly be very careful with what you tell people, you don’t get broken into simples!

The idea that Pogba shouldn't tell people when he is away from home, isn't going to work. And safes are a dubious benefit if the burglars hold a knife to someone's throat. It has been known.

The burglars don’t get the opportunity in the first place, Alsatians aren’t snacking on pedigree chum meatballs instead, people are getting targeted for 2 reasons the intruders have inside knowledge & crap security focus on them 2 things you don’t get burgled, simples!

Erm. If you drive past these houses in Cheshire, I think you'll find they already have all that.

& the dogs & the refusal to open the mouth, some people with wealth have never been targeted & never will be because they are super security conscious & very private people, a good reason exists why some people are selected & some aren’t, the victims aren’t randomly selected it’s planned in advance & weaknesses are exploited.

Sometimes people with children don't like the idea of attack dogs roaming loose round the garden. Can you imagine why not?

You missed the word “well trained” generally puppies brought up with young children are well behaved when the dogs know them, I’m not suggesting people source pit bulls & let them loose with strange children.

You're assuming that everyone on the world is you. Not everyone is. While you would no doubt be perfectly happy to let a little baby play with a trained attack dog, many parents would not, and to castigate them for their security arrangements as a result is futile.

It’s a simple question do you want to be robbed yes or no, if the answer is no you ensure measures are taken to stop that happening, it’s not rocket science it’s very simple basic stuff.

If there was a panacea that prevented burglary, then there wouldn't be any burglars. Anytime you believe yourself to have discovered a solution that the whole world has missed, have another think about it and see where you might be wrong.

I don’t know what he’s earning but for around a grand a week you could have on-site security guards 24/7 vetted & SIA licensed, a small price when burglars are breaking into your home especially when the kids are asleep in their beds.

Would Pogba have anything worth nicking?
The guy has absolutely no taste,I can just imagine the look of disappointment on the Neds faces as they surveyed Pogba's tat,as the beat a hasty retreat rather quickly and empty handed.

There was an interesting article in the Times recently about footballers and security.
The top clubs make it a priority to discuss security measures in detail with all players. Some players are apparently spending upwards of £400K per year to keep themselves safe. Others are less keen on the intrusion it causes.
Regardless of what Pogba's arrangements are, he has every right to be left in peace and I have every sympathy for him and his family.

How many do you think you’d be able to employ for that price?

If people you don’t know about are entering your home when your children are asleep, does it really matter? 1k or roughly somewhere around that mark would employ 4 security guards working days & nights on shift patterns it would be a good deterrent in addition to other measures, any security expert would say 99% of burglaries could have been avoided, burglaries will always happen because people don’t take security seriously enough or say too much to the wrong people.

Just think about that for a second. Around a grand a week. So around £52k a year. Between 4 people.
Who do you think you are getting for that?

Security is roughly minimum wage I’m talking somewhere around £300p/w for 40 hours per person, even if it went up to 2k we aren’t talking about somebody on road sweeper wages, it’s nothing to somebody of pogbas means & he’s unlikely to get burgled again & the kids can sleep sound & he can go to work (if you can call it that) without worrying about things back home.

What do you think a security guard on £10 per hour is going to do when a masked man shoved a gun in his face?

I wasn’t referring to him in particular just a general comment, must be a unwritten rule that says footballers are only allowed to be burgled whilst playing live football. People get burgled every day when not playing football.

It’s not an unwritten rule, it’s one of the first rules - try to burgle a house when the owner isn’t in!!

Can i just point out that the thread title appears wrong. ive not read the case but it will either be a burglary or more likely an aggravated burglary since they have (according to this thread) entered a property as a trespasser and most likely used or threatened force.

this has been going on for at least 20 years, happens to Liverpool and Man Utd players quite often. I do find it surprising that these top players don't have private security especially on game days when people know they are away.
This was the report on the Di Maria incident that made him leave Man Utd
"The Argentine winger was dining with his family when robbers used scaffolding poles to smash their way in to his Cheshire mansion.
The break-in occurred at 7.30pm
The former Real Madrid man's family were reportedly "very shaken up" by the incident. Di Maria, his wife Jorgelina Cardoso and their one-year-old daughter Mia were escorted away to safety by United's security team."
It's no laughing matter tbh, some of the comments on here are a disgrace

I thought it was a thread about new Scandinavian dance DJs.
