Only Villa-Arsenal in the PL today.
A tasty Championship clash though as Huddersfield host Bournemouth. Rovers go to Reading.
In League 1 Portsmouth-Wycombe and Oxford-Ipswich are key games in the battle for play-off spots.
Boro-Chelsea in the Cup catches the eye also.

A win for Sheff Utd in the early game taking them above Rovers into 4th for now.
Derby-Coventry finished 1-1, which is little help to either team.
Arsenal win at Villa. looks like they'll be finishing top 4 this season.

Notice Andy Madeley added 4 mins extra at Villa Park. No stoppages in the 4 mins. Villa get a FK at 94+, take the FK at 95.30, and the delay was a Villa discussion.
I thought you only added more time for a penalty kick?

West Brom get a pen. Bartley heads the ball and Bentley punches Bartleys head. Didn’t that happen early this season.
OK, I’ll let it go. NOT.

Rovers providing some much needed respite from our problems. And they're just clinging onto a PO place as it stands. But all the teams directly below them have games in hand, so it's not in their own doing anymore.

What is happening down at Luton this season? Could they be that team that comes from nowhere to go up?

They're not going up. Two good potential derbies there next season. I hope not but if it comes to it something to look forward to.

Rovers lose their 12th game of the season. That's two more than Dyche has lost in his last 92 Championship games.
(Another thing to add to the list of things to make me feel better).

I'm loathe to completely write them off, but it's looking increasingly like the injury to Diaz has de-railed their campaign thank heavens.
Bad enough we're heading down, but for them to take our PL place would really have capped off a miserable season.

Exactly this. They were flying with Brereton, huge loss for them.

TBH, it’s small consolation to take any pleasure from Rovers’ performances.
But I guess that’s all we have left, given the Everton and Leeds’ results.

I had them as certain to be promoted not that long ago but now they could easily miss out on play offs which would be epic. Clearly a one man team. The should change their name to Blackburn Nil
