It's been forever, since our last match. We should be ready and very able to roar on our heroes.
Let's let it all out.
Madge is ready to let it all out, so let's make it count. We can do this!
Come on Burnley Come on Burnley Come on Burnley
Up the Clarets

Nothing to lose today, I'll be keeping tabs on the match as I am watching my local side Littlehampton Town try to reach Wembley in their Vase semi final. Come on the Clarets and Marigolds!

A goal would be my definition of achievement today. I await the team selection waiting to find out if Dyche has spent the last couple of weeks usefully.
Whatever , come on the Clarets!

Afternoon Clarets everywhere. Live on Premier2 over here which is a delight but has lost me an evening at Munster v Leinster egg chasing. Just can’t make it to Limerick for ko.
Priority is cheering us on to 3 points. COYC.

At last 3 in cm and 1 striker against City. That gives us a chance of getting something or not getting battered.

Sensible approach with a 451. Just try and keep the goal difference down this afternoon.

Need to get Weghorst up against Ake and not Laporte. He can win that battle.
I’d have preferred Lowton to Roberts for this match but SD knows best.

Not sure there is a change? Isn’t Brownhill just playing alongside Weghorst instead of Cornet

Never mind the stats for Westwood and McNeill will be great with their short passes backwards

He’ll be playing deeper than second striker I’d assume in a 4-4-1-1 or advanced 8 in a 4-5-1.

In for a very long afternoon, zero pace anywhere on the pitch , be lucky to get out of our own half, I predict zero efforts on goal

This is a really decent effort from Josh Brownhill!
It's whipped in early from the right and he fires a dangerous header inches past the left post. (BBC)

McNeil didn't mark anyone. Taylor went narrow expecting him to mark Sterling.

Well that was quick, good defending from Taylor and Tarkowski, both just handing out goals this season. 3 central midfielders and Rodri has all the space in the world on the edge of the box, where is the pressure on the ball?

Awful defending that. Both fullbacks nowhere near men, no one in the box goal side. We've given up.
