I think that was the loudest I’ve heard Turf Moor celebrate a goal since Keane’s V Boro
can anyone think of any others?

Not since but before that Robbie Blake v ManU was pretty loud.
A work colleague who was sat in their garden on Lindsay Park Worsthorne heard the roar.

In recent years the ones that compare in my memory are...
-Robbie vs Man Utd 2009
-Vokes vs Rovers 2012
-Barnes vs Wigan 2014
-Keano vs Boro 2016
But agree that roar on Wednesday night was the biggest since the Keane goal.

Sat out in their garden on Wednesday night.

Yep, was fantastic, but I doubt anything will top Keane's goal against Boro - unbelievable, visceral noise.

Can't remember the details, but when we came back from being 2 or 3 goals down to Preston
about 12 years ago, Chris Iwelumo got a hat trick and I think Jrod scored the winner.
That was special. People were going crazy when the winner went in.
Also agree with the one against Boro.

According to the BBC's live feed, the roar 'could be heard in Blackburn'!

Hats off.

Sat out, in the garden, on a Wednesday night, in 2009.
A very warm evening in August.

The look in his eyes when he is celebrating is something else. The happiness in his face.
If we stay up then it will become, for me, as significant a turning point as Pope's penalty save/Westwood's goal against Leicester in the European season. It's one of the images that'll stay with me a long, long time. If. If.
This season has been so difficult to endure but what a moment that was to experience.

Magic night again. Our crowd can really lift the team and we are going to need that for the remainder of this season. Maxwel.really does enjoy a goal. His reaction is infectious.

Wednesday night was certainly loud but I haven't witnessed anything like the Robbie Blake roar - ever!
The whole of the JHU shook !

The Boro fan only just catches the noise after the ball went into the net but you get the idea of how loud it was.
