I know the OP is angry but we need to be sensible and grow up.

We are where we are thanks to him. He is the best equipped to win us promotion, too. Going to be a great season with loads of derbies and real football to look forward to.

Ageing legs took its toll. Truth is, he maximised their talents and we've now been found out. No need to get over-excited.

Dyche has worked miracles but now is the time for wholesale change. A more progressive manager, younger, quicker players, entertainment and a league in which we can genuinely compete. The financial situation is a real worry though.

I'm guessing that was Norwich's easiest game of the season. Again, at best, we resembled a plucky lower league side trying to get a shock win against of one the big boys in a cup competition. Pukki was man of the match; we couldn't get near him. Wednesday's result buoyed us all but again it's the hope that kills you. It's become repetitious now to turn in away performances like that. Possibly our best chance to influence the bottom of the league but again we were passive, disjointed, sluggish and basically not fit for purpose. Appalling all round.

There aren’t many managers who have been in charge as long as Dyche had, so the sample size is tiny. However, there’s a distinct feeling of staleness about all we do.

I don’t actively want him gone, but if it was announced tomorrow that he was leaving in the summer, I wouldn’t be concerned.

He has done great things for this club but he has just watched 2 central midfielders give the ball away time and time again and did nothing.
There is not one part of the club working properly that he has control of.

Norwich didn't get out of first gear and it was so comfortable for them. The continuing policy of picking Westwood and Brownhill as a pair is unfathomable. We all love and appreciate everything Dyche has done but 14 wins in 68 games isn't good enough at any level.

Especially if we keep handing fat contracts to twilight players after final pay days. Agree with what you say.

The club have been more than loyal towards him for the service he has given us, but his time is surely up. There is no point carrying on any further with him, if he was going to change things he would have done so by now. Get a new manager in asap and give them a few games this season to get their feet under the table before starting the rebuild at the end of the season. Waiting any longer is just pointless.

I absolutely concur.

I trust his judgement enough. We have a poor squad. We don't have the money to compete for complete players. Our midfield has been weak for seasons and we have not been able to replace them. Brownhill and Westwood is not a great combination but we've seen Cork and others there. We know their limitations.

He's damned no matter what.

Next year we will have economic advantage on our side. I have faith. As someone else said, it is stale. He's not the problem, though. He'll hopefully be backed and most of his signings have paid off. I believe future signings will, too.

Up to today Norwich have conceded 63 goals. That’s pretty much two a game.
We’ve failed to score in 180 mins of football and they’ve taken 4pts off us. That simply is not acceptable

You can play football and be hard to beat.

This past month has been the first time where I've seriously questioned Dyche. When we had Cork and Brownhill in the middle, it seemed to get the best out of other players (Brownhill, Lennon and Weghorst especially), we seemed a lot more fluid. Then he brought Westwood back and our form nosedived.

I'm not a Westwood hater, but since he's come back into the team we've gone backwards. It is MIND BOGGLING that in our situation, Dyche didn't revert back to the midfield that gave us 10 points in 4 games. I think that decision is one of the contributing factors to our slow painful relegation and I'm still scratching my head as to why he didn't change back.

In that he has got us up twice he gets a year to do it again, if we drop. After that, if he isn’t gone I am, because it is too soul destroying watching us lose with negativity. Not one save for Krul second half until that late chance.

I don't think he has a remote chance of getting us back up, football has moved on, we haven't.
I sort of hope he resigns.
We need a manager who will be prepared to look for, and play, emerging talent rather than relying on the current template.

Last PL season 2 of the 3 lowest scoring teams were relegated, with Burnley avoiding the drop.

This PL season it could well turn out that all 3 of the lowest scoring teams will drop into the Championship, albeit that Watford currently have scored 1 more goal than Brighton.

The warning signs were flashing at the end of last season.

SD's worth has already nosedived this season. A pundit on Talk Sport said today that no PL club chairman will want him as there is no quality being played by Burnley, and sadly also said we wont be missed. I just fail to see what he and the coaches do all week. We have absolutely no control of the ball, or retain possession. WE head the ball in midfield with no one near us, rather than chest it down, retain possession and play the simple lay off. I watched Stone today when SD beckoned the coaches after 25 minutes, he was just chewing gum with headphones on and said nothing. We are a shambles.

Everyone apart from Dyche can see Westwood needs dropping it is this seasons Hart moment but he hasn’t got half a season to put it right, should have been out 5 games ago

I can’t call for him to go - he’s done more for us than anyone in my time as a fan of Burnley. This season is done but I still want Dyche to be given the opportunity to take us back up.

His credits run into next season in my eyes. That means a decent summer and a really solid start to the new season.

That tactic only worked because a few seasons back Barnes and Wood were a real handful

I can’t say that I’ve enjoyed much of our football, for quite some time.

We seem to have lost what we were all about and what served us so well. Pressing, harrying, yes some long ball, but also some decent counter attacking play.

I would be wanting to see a return to that, not what we’ve seen this last 12 months or more.

Can you blame people for wanting a change from watching league Two standard football with 14 wins from the past 68 games?

Times change, there was more a feel good factor around the club the last few times, without mentioning it was over 6 seasons ago.

I know others have stated this above, whilst I’m no Dyche out man after what he’s given us(and his record in the championship) this season and the recent (Everton result aside) big games have me questioning whether the ‘forever story’ as he put it has run its course.

That today summed up our season, his approach, his tactics and the god awful players (after yrs in the prem) at our disposal

As a season ticket holder I can’t be bothered attending because I don’t enjoy what I’m watching. Either the football changes or Dyche goes for me. There’s an argument to keep him in The Champ but I’d give him ten games only to deliver. I don’t think his old methods are working anymore. Its tiresome to watch and I’m sure the players ( whether good enough or not) are bored of it. I except we could go down 3 divisions and some on here will still trumpet on that nobody else could do a better job.

I have been out for a few today watching the match, then watching the City v Liverpool match, i seriously don't see the reason for the Dyche out calls, we have continuously punched above our weight for the last 7 or 8 seasons, what has suddenly changed apart from certain posters thinking because we are in the premier league we should be world beaters, helloooo it doesn't work like that we are still the same old Burnley fighting most of the time for the points, Sean Dyche didn't lose us the game today the players on the pitch today did, the team he picked in most of the people on here was an improvement because he picked Lowton over Roberts today, which is what many were asking for, yes there has been a significant lack of investment in the team but we have to work with what we have, we are not a glamorous club by any means and don't attract or can afford those sort of players that play for the top six and yes the way the club has changed hands financially is a bit of sore point but it is what it is, but if and yes IF we go down surely Sean Dyche would be the best manager to bring us straight back up, anyway there is still 8 matches to play 24 points available so who knows what will happen.
