Have any players commented yet?

Manager departures are usually followed by multiple social media posts from players. Have seen a lot from former players. Have any of our current squad commented yet other than Roberts’ mrs liking the post that he’s gone?

Exactly what I was wondering earlier.
Especially considering he’s signed them all and got them playing at PL level, it seems very odd that nobody has said anything.

Not seen that.
Have to wonder if Robert’s being dropped for Lowts May have played a part in this decision (albeit correct one in my opinion).

Roberts was dropped because he was shite. If that decision played any part in todays news we’ve well and truly lost the plot.

More the point that Dyche was replacing/subbing Pace signings for the old guard in a very bad defeat.
I’m not saying he was wrong, just I imagine Pace may have questioned some of the team selections during recent defeats.

Roberts is an attacking wide right player not a full back
His natural position is as a wide right attacker as he plays very well for Wales to suggest he's in anyway shite is nonsense

If not fit to play, would assume Mee will have a major input into this Sunday's starting line up
That in itself would/could show whether team selection/tactics in recent games was seen by the players to be effective

What can the players say apart the usual we are upset & sorry to see him go, had a few rockets been launched up backsides a lot earlier he might still be in a job that's the disappointing part & a sad conclusion to what looks like relegation on the horizon.

You’re slightly misrepresenting what I’ve said here. I haven’t said he’s a shite player, but I stand by my view that so far, his performances for us on the whole have been shite.
I think wing back may be a more accurate assessment of him as a player, than wide right attacker. Either way, I’m yet to see much evidence of him either being able to take on a man or put in a decent delivery.
I’ve not written him off, particularly if we go down, but he 100% deserved to be dropped.

If, and it’s a big if, it is true, and I actually know his family reasonably well and will have it confirmed one way or another on Sunday, then he can **** off as well.

Reading between the lines and folk on here more likely to be connected to him with obvious ties to the area - he was born here for a start, and yes has a brother it’s Jay Rod.

Jay has been disappointing since his return. Can’t really blame Dyche. Vydra has more cause for being disgruntled. Cork maybe has cause too. Seems to be out of favour for sure.

I assume the bit about Roberts' Mrs is a wind up, because if it isn't I would expect the club and any incoming manager for that matter to take a very dim view of it. I know I do (if it's true)

I'd rather the players focussed on getting prepared for the West Ham game, yes I've no doubt many will be sad SD has been punted, but they are all highly paid professionals, and they owe the club a performance as well as the long suffering fans after some of their lacklustre displays this season.

Hearing dyche was at barnfield this morning to say his goodbyes also the club wanted to sack him after the Brentford game but changed their mind at the last minute utc
