Sounds promising.

Fingers crossed for an good recovery and, of course, extended best wishes to Ashley on the road back to fitness.

I wonder how many Premier League clubs you'd hear of when an injured player is thanking the club chairman for looking our for his family and even offering to babysit.

Some very odd comments towards Pace on this thread which probably wouldn’t be posted if he’d been born in the BB10 postcode.

Anyway hope Westwood makes a full recovery.

Not for the first time, the Chairman's religion is used as a stick to beat him with.

It’s really not okay and it shows us all up as a fan base.

Listen, I don't like the finances behind the takeover, I don't like some of the decisions from ALK but that doesn't mean we should bash Pace at every opportunity, it's uncalled for.

I agree, we are better than those toxic clubs fans that do all that to owners

He showed his face tonight, didn't shy away. I fully support the decision to remove Dyche too, as an owner you can't just let the club sleepwalk to mediocrity because of sentiment for what the manager once achieved. Letting us sleep walk and shirking the big decision would've been the easy decision, especially financially.

Just when Alan Pace has been getting it from all directions by fans who do not have a clue what went on but have Stockholm Syndrome from listening to Dyche telling us we have to play a certain way, we have to accept we have to play percentages.

I think that message was a clear "I have your back Alan" which I think says it all

Unless as all the Dyche believers will be telling us, maybe Pace made him put that little bit into his statement. After all he is a no good American that doesnt get us

I might be wrong, Dyche knows it's happened often enough, but I think Milltown was being a bit sarcastic about how unnnorthern, uncaring, and unburnley our chairman is portrayed in the media, and indeed on this very website, so why would he waste any time at all contacting an injured player?

That's how I read it anyway.

Wish him and his family the very best through his recovery. For players, I can only imagine such a time to be trying. Given the stage of his career, I hope he doesn’t lose hope. His message tells me he hasn’t and he sees all the support he has and will receive. Also, lovely words from Westwood for all associated with the club.
