Myself and my partner currently having this debate. I went for the below:

3. Hyde at Ewood - never seen us get close to scoring against them.. 1-0 down against PL opposition... only Ian Moore, a pretend striker, up front... then Hyde lobs one of the PL's best keepers from outside the box in front of our fans. Absolute scenes!

In no particular order

1) Paul Fletcher at Leeds

Having said that, I'll probably remember more in a few minutes.

1) Gray at Brum. Every outfield player touched the ball at least twice.
2) Coates v. liverpool, April ‘66. Ran from his own half.
3) Patterson at Reading. Stunning strike.

There are so many this thread needs sub-dividing into: headers, distant strikes, FKs, dribbles,etc.,

I won’t alter my 3 but have already thought of another.
Brian O’Neils 89th minute winner against ManU that struck both posts before it crossed the line.

Yep... Absolute stonking goal at CF end... A few days after we'd beat Sheff U in first game back.

There are brilliant goals and significant goals.

I thought Steven Defour lob goal v Hull was the most exquisite ever.

Robbie Blake versus Manchester United was also beautiful and significant.

Wade Elliott at Wembley, because it was sheer joy and I got to hug my late wife, who was equally overcome.

All I remember was the crowd erupting, the loon kicking off with someone behind being carter off by plod and Casp & Co hugging each other.

None of the young 'uns had seen Ralphy sat on the ball with a 'We've Won' grin on his face, while it was still in play though.

Also using the criteria of goals that I have seen - and as others have said 3 is impossible - but these just stand out:

1: This from Uwe vs Newcastle in Nov. 74. Wonderful sweeping move, Brenno charging down the left in front of the Longside and smashing over a rocket cross, Uwe with a with a sensational bullet diving header finish. Just perfect, a thing of beauty. 2: Casper to beat Chelsea late in first home match of season following promotion. After he retired, Bonetti mentioned it as one of the best goals/shots he'd ever conceded. 3: Wade at Wembley. Never ever thought I'd see us back in the top division.

Akinbiyi at Chelsea.

Neal Grewcock at Crewe.

Bloke with flowing locks winning it at Stockport.

Would have to think long and hard about the other two but I'd have to have a spot for my favorite player

Oh and while I think of it I have to give an honorable mention and special "Comedy Goal" award to this beauty from Calamity Corrigan when we beat City 3-0 at the Turf. Big Joe gave a great impression of a "man in a shower trying to catch a bar of soap" while trying to dummy a drop kick around Fletch on the edge of the box, Fletch got a toe on the ball as it fell it and it rolled with just enough pace to beat Joe's frantic chase after it and trickled over the line
