Apparently Everton fans were setting off fireworks outside the Chelsea hotel during the night/early morning

Great to see Everton flying out the blocks. The number of times I’ve seen us relegated and we always kicked off fast, then conceded, then had nothing left to give. Cummon Chelsea.

I’ve hated Chelsea ever since they tried to fight their way up Brunshaw Road into the Bee Hole End in the 80’s.
Right now, all is forgiven, and they are top chaps.

Chelsea in control of the ball and Everton putting a lot of running effort in. Can see a the floodgates opening if it Carry’s on like this.

Everton cannot defend like this for 90mins under the cosh. If Chelsea score the early enough it’ll be a cricket score

Reece James is my favourite of the 4 top RBs that GS can choose from but he’s off his best today.

Everton seem to be using a lot of energy closing down. Can they keep it up for 90+ minutes is the thing.

Werner is genuinely no better than Vydra. Burgled a career at the very top level.

I think Gordon must bruise if you fart on him.

This Chelsea side worry me, they are like Arsenal and overplay it too much. Take 12 passes when only 3 are needed, wanting to walk it into the net.
Everton have shown, many times, that they can't hold out against teams that go at them directly. Possession means sod all.

Everton running around like blue arsed flies. They won't keep it up for 90 mins.

Seamus Coleman could have been sent off already. He should have been booked for his push on Rudiger earlier on.

Been saying for a week or 2 now that Chelsea are unreliable to count on getting the win here. They do look half interested at times. Might be a few team with similar performances in the last few games. Leicester are another who look done in the league.

Everton taking the physical approach to safety. If Chelsea score ( which they don’t look like doing) they will win

Everton flying in with the challenges but defending pretty well

Chelsea not very snappy with their passing, and that kinda plays into Evertons hands

Delph fairly lucky to still be on the pitch I think

Had a feeling about this game for a while.

We just need to focus on us, and on the Villa game.
