Colne bowled out for 50 at Accy. Was expecting a decent season this year but that's 3 defeats in a row now.

Great win by Rawtenstall. Sub pro managed to hit a 6 through the club house doors and smash a hole in the wall!

Rawtenstall juggernaut is up and running.

Padiham won chasing 221 after Salesbury sub Pro hit 135.
The 19yr OA player Zander Von Tonder won the game in style after taking 20 balls to score a couple of runs got 60 odd off 35.

With Padiham not having a game on Saturday the lads are taking him on the Turf. It will be his first live football game so shouldn't be a problem making him a Claret. Usually South Africans come over as Man U or Liverpool fans and we try and convert them.

House were rocking at one point and 100 was looking iffy. Was really worried when the hero of the final Pretorious was caught with a rising drive. Frankie and young Henry Cottam steadied it and Dean Barlow continued.
Zaidi the Norden pro provided stubborn resistance and a couple of their batsmen seemed happy to shore up the other end without really scoring. Once Zaidi fell they folded.
Norden is a lovely ground.

No news at all of Burnleys result. Result missing on the Lancs League website. Nothing on their social media or on Rochdales.
Was anyone there to see it?

Colne 3rd eleven beat Nelson 3rd eleven at Seedhill today in what was a very entertaining match with a decent crowd in attendance.
Colne have now won 3 and drawn 1 of their first 4 matches.

Correction.
Colne 3rd eleven have played 5 ,won 4 and lost one.
They are top in their league.

I don't think Lowerhouse have managed to get one. It's a struggle on a Saturday which most leagues play on.

Colne pro scored 160 yesterday and we still couldn't win, so I wasn't holding out much hope for today! Must have been an entertaining afternoon at Lowerhouse!

As long as you don't have the sub Pro for the 20/20 against Padiham on Friday.

There is little chance of chasing down 350 in any level of the 50 over format.

Rawtenstall didn't get off to a flyer which they needed but still posted 200+.

Arrod 293/6 and Colne very close on 289/9.

Unfortunately for 'Arrod they couldn't quite follow up that win at Colne with a win at Bacup in the cup on Sunday. Didnt really make enough runs tbf and then lost narrowly by just the one wicket. So let's just concentrate on the league (as they say!)

Yes: the Colne game of course was on Saturday, not yesterday.
