Does anybody know if there's a chance the club might ask for more?

I've got mine, but know two people who want to go, but missed out.

The club specifically requested the smaller allocation

Why would they do that?

Not prepared to take an allocation higher because they are then no longer sale or return.

Because we probably had to sort it when we all thought we were relegated and it’s a 12pm kick off on a Sunday. We’ve barely sold out all season so can’t blame them for taking the smaller allocation.

Because for all previous London games this season 1200 or so has been ample.

Out of interest how come we got/took 2200 for Watford though?

Because Watford have half the stand, away team has the other so ticket allocations are the same no matter what for each game, like the cricket field stand.

Watford don’t offer different allocations. You just get the full amount on sale or return. We do the same.

It’s the clubs who have variable segregation lines or upper/lower areas who offer the different allocations.

Perhaps because it is a stupid kick off time, making it nigh on impossible to get to this game on public transport unless a hotel is booked in Greater London area for the Saturday night. That’s why I am not going.

8:05 train from Leeds was easy enough to book.

The point was that “public transport is nigh on impossible” which isn’t true, given that there is a direct train from Leeds, which coincidentally is as easy to get to from Burnley as Manchester is.

Not sure you can get to Leeds from Burnley on a Sunday in time for that train. Trainline is showing first arrival in Leeds from Burnley that day is 10:15.

If the first bus is on time you can just about get to Manchester in time for a train but there would be some running involved.

I would suggest it is impossible to get there in time from Burnley by public transport.

I just had a look for this game, would love to have gone with my lad but sold out. My bad planning as ever. But surprised at the low allocation.

I’ve got mine but is there any chance we could get an increased allocation?

Was struggling with this one. Didn't want to go. Then decided, I ought to go to boost our support. Then looked at how to drive there and arrive in good time, whilst having to avoid the emissions zone. The early kick off just became a pain. I will watch on TV.
