She appears to ve a piece of work.
Tried to flog the story of Drinkwater spending a night in clink, with newspapers, for money.
Other stuff too allegedly.

The civil action will cost millions. It is obscene and a personal failure by both parties not to seek an out of court resolution. It is a disgrace when so many of us cannot afford food , fuel and dentistry. I say go back home and take both your egos with you.

Mentioned it in a previous interview years ago I think and was mentioned again in this court case.
I think they're just highlighting what a gobshite she is

She does come across as most people see WAGS, I can confirm a high number of them are like this as well by the way!
I’d not attend a party that those sorts attended, toxic atmosphere and they all bitch about each other the moment their backs are turned.

It’s pretty obscene the costs involved for what is nothing more than an ego driven attempted face saving from Vardy’s mrs . While you can imagine Rooney’s mrs was pretty p1ssed off , surely they could have had an out of court and a nda.

Men are no better. Become a regular in your local pub, and you'll see what I mean. This is why I've always preferred bar-hopping in town or Manc city centre pubs.
BTW: I once read somewhere that one o the reasons why some people are never out of their local is because they can't bear the thought that their drinking buddies might be talking about them.

Most people couldn’t give a rats arse who wins. It’s important for their shallowness and egos though. More worthwhile human beings would call a truce and donate some of the costs to a charity such as for the starving or the ill. They don’t live in the real world.

Obsession over talentless ‘celebrities’ is a complete plague.
If no one talked about them, then it wouldn’t get rammed down our throats (yea I’m aware of the hypocrisy in this post)

The amount of airtime this and the Depp/Heard thing have got over the last few weeks on the big national news broadcasts really does depress me. This sort of stuff used to be consigned to the celebrity gossip sections of the tabloids but now I’m getting ‘breaking news’ alerts about it on my phone.

A sad indictment of the social media whores created today with little to no moral compass, and also indicative of the rarified atmosphere they live in completely dislocated from the real world..

Not quite the same thing. In the Depp/Heard case, the guy can’t work again because of the impact of the libel. Whereas the Wagatha Christie is, as described, a privileged WAG spat

I think in the league table of ‘injustices in the world’ this sits below us not getting a penalty against Norwich (assuming it was libel). Why is headline news?

People soak it up, and it sells advertising space. Just look at any online tabloid and the amount 'celeb' gossip along with inane photo articles, usually of someone you've never heard of sunning themselves at the beach. It's this kind of fodder that drags the punters in, and also receives most clicks.

BBC 6pm news did an interview with Deborah James who has just been taken into hospice care after raising money and highlighting bowel cancer, young, beautiful and brave but most of all very inspirational and then two stories later the news fell on these two spoilt brats, doubt if it was intentional but it really showed the pair of them ( and husbands ) up for what they are, no wonder i am going off football.

Unless I'm much mistaken, I believe Jamie Vardy's parents took an instant dislike to the current Mrs Vardy and refused to attend the Wedding and have little or nothing to do with them ...
Seems like they were good judges of character ...

To be fair, this is all of Rebekah Vardy’s making.
She’s suing and so Colleen Rooney is well within her rights to defend herself.

Very clever of Rooney's Brief. By using that phrase he provoked a "huh?" response, affirming the view of her that most people are forming - 2 short planks being involved in the expression

You couldn't write this stuff could you, and I await the inevitable TV series with relish.
Is it only me that's lost as to precisely what their argument concerns, as far as I can surmise it's all a storm in a teacup.
And as mentioned above the only ones smiling when this farce is over will be the lawyers, who'll be coining it in as ever.

I don’t even think it’s that deep (no pun intended). I doubt most younger people know that phrase ( I could be wrong). I think he’s just being a bit snobby.

Wouldn’t so much say snide, rather it’s the fact that Vardy has brought the case and it’s Rooney’s defence that Vardy is in fact somewhat underhand and less than honest. Any barrister worth their fee is going to make a play on that and take any opportunity to rile Vardy.
Reading the court reporting I’m not sure he’s having to work that hard, either.

Yes I've only seen the snippets as well, but Vardy really doesn't come across as the sharpest tool in the box does she, and what either women hopes to gain from this charade beats me, you'd have thought common sense would have prevailed and they'd have reached an out of court settlement, but vanity appears to be both their middle names.
As entertainment I also find it hilarious, but the problem is once you choose to wash your dirty linen in public the genie can't be put back in the bottle, as both these ladies are about to discover the hard way.

People relishing the inevitable TV series will be manna from heaven for the pair of them. They’ll ensure that there is plenty of coin for themselves, whoring their stories for the highest price to feed to those awaiting their ‘influence’.

Coleen Rooney doesn't have to prove it outright. The verdict will be based on probabilities.

Based on probability it will take a massive turn around for Vardy to win.
Highly paid legal teams were always going to hang her out to dry, especially with her ex agent giving them the ammo.

My understanding is that to win her case Vardy has to prove what Rooney said isn’t true (on balance of probabilities). Not sure she can do that.

I believe it’s the other way round. Rooney has to prove it was Vardy who personally leaked the stories following the pre trial hearing.
