Can’t remember the last time I was this nervous about a game! Even worse that we know whatever happens tonight we have to go through it all again on Sunday.

Come on you Clarets!!

All over the place here, one minute thinking we're surely going to get battered, the next convinced we're going to pull off one of our miracle backs to the wall performances to grab at least a point.
Great times, though.

First thing I’m doing after work is going to the shop and getting beers in.

Same here. Think it was the play off final that I last felt this nervous! ( having said that Orient wasn't great!) UTC

I’m reasonably calm considering. It’s probably because tonight isn’t a resolution to the season whatever the outcome, although obviously the outcome makes Sunday easier/harder/out of our hands.

It's not nice, this is the first time ever that I feel I don't want to watch the game. ☹

Awful, just sat in work and not concentrating, wish I had booked the day off but here till 5.

Mentioned above about the play off final, I cannot remember being at all nervous before or during the play off final until the final 5 minutes of the game, I just had a complete belief we were going to beat Sheffield United that day. With Villa tonight and Newcastle on Sunday, I am not so sure.

I keep convincing myself 1 point in the next two games will be enough as Leeds will lose to Brentford, then a few minutes later think Leeds will win easily at Brentford so we need 4 points minimum, whether we survive or not, I wish it was 6pm on Sunday and we all know where we stand.

I'm not nervous about the team.

But I am nervous about the fans and their anxiety transferring over to the pitch. Get behind them.

Twitter is full of our fans being anxious.

That's ok as long as you are not rude to the teacher and your classmates can't smell the beer tomorrow. 😁

Had butterflies in the tummy all morning. I'm not sure how I'm going to cope on Sunday. Hopefully a point or three tonight to settle the nerves.

I read that as "a pint or three tonight to settle the nerves". That could also work to be fair.

I’m feeling great. In a way it is far better to have an exciting end to the season than watch a white flag salute to Arsene Wenger as we did the other year when we bent over and got our belly tickled.

I’m pretty confident that we get enough points ourselves and I’m pretty sure Thomas Frank will enjoy taking points off Leeds on Sunday.

It’s all in our hands.

Horrible feeling, I fancy us to win tonight 3-1, Everton draw 2-2. We go above Leeds and Everton, meaning Leeds and Everton both need to win on the final day and hope we lose.

I’m an excited nervous. Had a good feeling about this match all week. Feel the lads are up for the fight and will deliver tonight.

Someone mentioned 'Orient' earlier and I think it is very relevant( not always popular, however). I stood through that nightmare and we came out on the other side. Always remind myself of that horrific, horrible match whenever another so- called crunch game is on us and tell myself that if I could get through that one then nothing else compares because that was the ultimate nerve shredding experience never to be repeated again. There will be football to watch next season whatever the outcome; that condition wasn't necessarily on the table in 1987.

I'm just glad I can be there and sing through the tension. I'd find watching on TV/listening to the radio a nightmare.

I think what makes it odd is that I can't read what is going to happen and even if we were to win tonight there would still be a lot of jeopardy on Sunday.

I have been lucky in my lifetime that these kind of big games/moments have often gone our way. I'm so happy we have even got this far into the season and we're in with a great shot considering where we were. I cannot tell whether we're going to finish the job though.

I'm in a right pickle. I fly to America on Saturday, which means whatever happens tonight, I have to find somewhere across the pond to watch the game, but prior to that I have to provide a proof of negative COVID test tomorrow. I don't have sky telly, and for a game of this magnitude I feel I simply must watch the game, even if it means catching the virus at the last minute. Should I play it safe and just listen to the wireless tonight? Decisions, decisions! Aarrrgh!

Nervous but confident. We do tend to do it late, few seasons ago won away at Palace last season away at Fulham. I reckon our togetherness and Nick Pope will get us at least a point.

I've come to term with us absolutely, definitely being down about three or fours times. Then we pull a result out if the bag and I start to believe we can stay up. I would be a lot more relaxed if I could go back to feeling we were doomed.

Can't wait for the game to starttonight.
It's going to be one of those games where i'm clapping and cheering every pass and tackle, shouting encouragement at every lost and second ball, yelling to close them down when they are attacking etc.
Will probably have a sore throat at the end of the game and that's from TV !!

Nervous

Not sick though

If we don't do enough to stay up, then we don't deserve to stay up, and though I'd prefer it if we stayed in the prem, I'm pig sick of all the s**t that goes around about it

Woke up early in Sarasota. Just setting off to drive back home to watch the game followed by the Stanley Cup play off game Lightning v Panthers ( American style local derby well 250 miles local !! ). So major stress day all round. Be glad when it’s over. UTC and Go Bolts. Obviously Burnley game the big game. No second chances for the Clarets

I thought we were down after the Norwich game. Of course nothing will be settled tonight other than if Everton win they are safe. We could beat Villa and still go down, we could lose tonight and still stay up. Still feeling nervous but Sunday is going to be the big one.

It’s about time we had some luck or decisions going our way. Maybe the gods have saved it all up for our last 2 games!!!
Mings scoring a perfect hat trick of og’s tonight. One of the back of his head one off his elbow n one off his arse
Sunday v Newcastle Ashley punches in a 92 min winner which is missed by VAR. Newcastle straight down the other end and Wood scores only to be flagged offside
In the other games leeds loose to Brentford and richarlason is hit on the head with a flare thrown by a supporter trying to get it out of the ground

As long as all the players turn up and put a solid shift in im not too fussed about tonight.

If everyone plays to their maximum i think we can do it.

Not really there's more pressing issues to concern myself with, mainly my niece currently being in intensive care on life support, things like that really put football into genuine perspective I feel, much as we all love the game and want Burnley to do well it's not the end of the world if we lose or are relegated, that said while relegation per se doesn't worry me, are dire financial predicament must certainly does.

Don’t worry. Stevie G will let us win to put pressure on Everton. He will tell his players to save themselves for Sunday against City to help Liverpool win the title.
