Would be great to show the rest of the Premier teams fans how to behave.
BUT it will never happen as we also have more than our share of numpties.Love to be proved wrong though.

That just won’t happen. I’d like to also add, if Chris Wood plays please don’t boo him, you’re playing into his hands. Just clap him at the start or if he comes on from the bench and leave it at that. I know that won’t happen either but can we try please.

This is my fear for Sunday, a pitch invasion will happen if we survive and I feel if Chris Wood is on the pitch we could have another incident as seen at Forest and Everton over past couple of days.

Do our fans really dislike wood? Surely even the most stupid of idiots can understand he didn’t even choose to leave and he’s helped out club a lot.
Don’t boo him that’s pathetic.

Imagine the scenario…Chris Wood comes on as a sub, scores a last minute winner to send us down and at the final whistle he’s the opposite end of the pitch to the players tunnel and has to make his way past a load of angry, red faced, middle aged, bald headed wankers with their 80’s attitude…..or the better scenario is that Tripps scores an own goal to keep us up and leaves with a smile on his face

To boo Wood would be absolutely stupid and could come back to haunt us. A polite applause and respect/appreciation for what he did for us is what we need.
Then a monumental effort of singing for the clarets (not slagging off the ref, Newcastle, etc).

Re: Win, lose or draw on Sunday.....
I've been on pitch against Wrexham and Plymouth and prob a few others as I'm sure has the vast majority on here.
I'm not gonna try and tell people not to do something I once did just cos I'm older and not interested in the same way these days.
If Burnley stay up then I 100% expect people to want to run on the pitch and celebrate and providing there are no attacks towards the Newcastle players and coaching staff then I've no issue

If Newcastle win the toss then they will turn us round so that at least their keeper has a fair chance of making the tunnel before the inevitable pitch invasion.

I reckon we need one of the local plod to explain to the Newcastle dressing room how they can't guarantee their safety should Burnley not win.
Apparently it worked with Orient
