Plan B - move back to the good ‘ol US of A.

Not the time for digs now. I've been as critical as any of ALK but digs and blame games help nothing right now. Club needs to come together. Division and we risk tumbling further.

Just remember that players may be sold, but that those players will want to play in the Premier League. The decision isn’t always the clubs.

Let’s hope it is a cunning one!

Convince all the players to stay (minus Tarks) dominate the championship, finish first and be back EPL next year.

The plan will be to appointment a manager with a proven championship promotion record......oh wait!!

Well we certainly will have enough from player sales not to worry for next year.

Not to worry financially maybe but it would leave nothing left on the pitch. That itself will bring bigger worries down the line if we can’t get back up quickly.

FFS can we just wait and see what happens before we all start slitting our wrists?!
Course players will be sold, that’s a fact of relegation, but for the love of god let’s just wait to see what happens.
Rather than worry about the future, on what none of us know what will be or more importantly we can affect, look back on 6 years of wonderful memories, and that you can say you were part of it.

Bounce straight back. If we don’t go up next season then we will be the next Pompey or Bolton, or maybe even the next Bury. Don’t feel good about this. They won’t hesitate to deduct us points and such. Long road ahead.

Unfortunately the plan will be focusing on minimising loss and off loading high earners and anybody who is a saleable asset

It's some overhaul that's going to have to take place. If I was a neutral betting man I'm not sure if fancy us to do better than Rovers next year

Thank you for the warning but I’m still none the wiser as to who or what I need to be careful of listening to.

Obviously we can expect to see some players depart. While there's an awful lot of rebuilding to do, I can't help but think that's advantageous for a new manager coming in. Surely, a blank canvas and the chance for to put their stamp on things is an attractive proposition for an incoming manager. There's no better time to reinvent the way that we play, to recruit players with resale value (easier said than done), and to give some of our more promising youth players a chance to be involved.

Relegation is of course disappointing but I can't help but look forward to the challenge of this rebuild and of the Championship itself. And, let's face it, relegation was inevitable at some point. I know that sounds a little defeatist but we've always faced an uphill battle in the Premier League and the challenge of staying in the top flight against the billionaire-backed clubs grows ever larger. We had a good run.

I suspect there will be interest in Mc Neill, Collins, Brownhill and Taylor as well. I could see us getting stuck with Cornet if we aren't offered his release clause or we don't agree to accept less for him.

I'd love to get stuck with cornet in the championship, in the right system and with some time he'll be excellent. Lord knows what our squad will look like next year though

Without names your post is meaningless

When I said “can’t wait to see the plan” I meant
- with respect to offering contracts to out of contract players
- with respect to the approach in terms of player recruitment - Dyche-style; proven but older/costlier, or young and fresh and give it a go under a progressive manager
- off the field with financing and the required balance to execute a plan

The plan has already been announced hasn't it? Sell what we can/have and go from there. Which unfortunately is only going to be one way.
