Well, ok , I'm dreaming, but it should be reality. Everton have clearly manipulated their finances to reverse engineer their costs. Clubs that have declared their Covid losses have all been around £40m to £60m (Villa, Newcastle, etc)n... but Everton pull a rabbit out of the hat and declare £170m Covid losses so as to offset their spending of £348m ! They bought big in the January window fully in the knowledge of breaking the rules. If the rules are there to be so blatantly broken then what is the point ?

I know what you mean ..... being pulled in by a "bait and switch" headline and then feeling like a numpty for clicking on it. My apologies.

My thoughts exactly. All this straw clutching with Everton makes us look tin pot.

No let’s p**s off with some dignity and if we get £20m compo then great.

I personally wouldn't want to stay up on a technicality. With grace we shall suffer and with grace we shall recover. I have developed quite a hatred for Everton over the last fee months though!

It will be interesting to see if there is any action taken against them as there was for example at our dear friends down the road (and others). I think a slap on the wrists thats all.

Lets face it the majority of clubs in the EPL and the various authorities wanted us out.
