It's simple we have been rubbish all season.
Blame the lack of investment before the take over or after it boils down to facts.

Those rancid displays against our rivals at the bottom (at the time of playing them) ought to be the biggest regret of the season. Norwich home, Newcastle away, Leeds away, Watford home, Brentford away, Norwich away. Just God awful stuff.

Do better in just two of those games and we stay up.

Don’t concede in the final few minutes at home to Leeds and we stay up. Fine margins.
