I was at the Kent game for the rerun of the 2021 final. Kent won toss, chose to bat and the big names at the top of the order failed miserably. Leaning played really well abs gave them a respectable target but Somerset were rarely troubled.

About time the proper cricket started. That boring 4 day stuff that the oldies like is awful and not a great standard. Formats like 20-20 and the Hundreds is the lifeblood of cricket and where the future of the game lies so cant wait to see it start up again.

DA reaching desperate levels of fishing now. Subtlety completely out the window.
I've just put the local T20 fixtures in the diary and have quite the quandary. I've always been a house fan but now live in Read so try to catch their games from time to time. Just seen that Read v Padiham T20 clashes with House v Clitheroe T20.
Decisions...decisions...

Absolute village bowling but check out Stirling’s reaction at only scoring 34 off the over

183 thanks to an outstanding salvo from David. Rare you see the same amount of runs scored in back to back games, hopefully not another tie!

Gleeson 5-33 to add to his last heroics the other night, a welcome victory for Lancs in a tight affair.
Yorkshire heading for defeat it seems. Oh! dear what a shame.

Think they've done it to tie in with half term. It's a double header with the lads on first followed by the lasses in the evening. Friday is the other way round.

Never ever expected that! At Notts, of all places. Need to back it up tomorrow before all of our plays disappear on international duty. Gleeson looks incredible this season.

Gleeson has been absolutely magnificent. Fingers crossed the weather holds off for tomorrow, as it looks a mixed bag here

Derbyshire needed 8 off the last over. Yorkshire had a longish discussion on who was bowling the last over and first ball smashed for 6.

Ha…. Voldemort….. golden duck.
Does anybody know where Voldemort, as a nickname, comes from?
He was born in Whitby so Dracula would be more appropriate.
BTW. A golden Duck, now there’s a photo that would earn you some brass.

Mark Wood created a song for Adam Lyth...
He's bald, he's short,
He looks like Voldemort
Adamy Lyth, Adam Lyth.....
