For anybody out there with techy experience! I left my AirPods in the charging case in my gym shorts and put them through the washing machine!
The inside of the case and the actual earbuds didn’t appear wet when I got them out, but the charger seems to be knackered. Does anybody know if I bought a new charging case from eBay, would they work/pair with my iPhone again?
Tried googling but no concrete answers apart from going to the Apple store and having my pants pulled down!

I think my Mrs did it the other way around! The pods still work but not as well. Looking at this, there shouldn’t be an issue with getting a new case:

Can’t see any reason why not. It’s just Bluetooth connection.

Just have to make sure you get the right ones, 1st generation or 2nd generation or even air pod pro. You can get a charging case on eBay lots cheaper than from apple,
