Nathan Collins
Nathan Collins just scored astonishing goal against Ukraine, broke from back, slalomed through Ukrainian defence, finished with outside of foot. Outstanding!!

Re: Nathan Collins
Eeeek.
I'd be grateful if he played well but kept a low profile until the end of the transfer window.
Thankyouverymuch.

Re: Nathan Collins
He's the most exciting prospect I've seen in a Burnley shirt in my lifetime.
We've been blessed with CBs these past few years but he is the creme de la creme.
£50 million is cheap by my reckoning. The lads truly international class and we've got the next Paul McGrath on our hands.

Re: Nathan Collins
I sincerely hope we can keep him.
If he’s got a release clause, as suggested, there will undoubtedly be PL clubs all over it.
All we can hope is VK can convince him to stay and he sees it as an opportunity to learn from one of the best.

Re: Nathan Collins
Outstanding goal. Cut through from edge of centre circle, took it right through the game, neat footwork and outside of right-foot into goal.
Enjoyed it too!

Why did he have to go and do that? A nice steady performance, solid but unimpressive; hopefully nobody was watching.

Well if anybody can convince him to stay, it’s going to be one of the greatest defenders in PL history. What a talent.
Re: Nathan Collins
I was in Lodz a coupe of seasons ago. Watched one of our matches in the aptly named football pub. Each time a new customer came in they went round and shook everybody's hand, including mine.

I really hope him having a release clause isn't true. Going to be very difficult to keep him after his performances of the past few months.

Re: Nathan Collins
Top, top player and at only just 21 years of age outstanding.
He is by far our biggest talent, and the one player we have who could go on and play for a top 6 clubs.
On a personal note, I'd just like to remind all those people who castigated me for suggesting that Collins should have played in front of the back 4 last season. He'd have been a natural, and it would have changed our season.

A defender who scores goals like a forward. The last player I saw do that sort of thing was Gary Cahill.

Re: Nathan Collins
I must be the only person not bothered that everyone is raving about how good he is
If premier league clubs want him, they'd have noticed him long before last night, and I'm sure he's as keen as anyone would be to get back into the premier league as quickly as possible
Be interesting if he hasn't got a release clause though (or if its for an obscene amount!)

Re: Nathan Collins
Super goal. Second half against Newcastle he showed he can play a bit and in fact made the goal for Cornet. But first and foremost he is a defender and he has yet to prove hes a top one. I'm am confodent he will be mind.
Re: Nathan Collins
It may well be that Collins and his agent would only sign if there was a release clause, say of £25M.
To us it looks low, but it still represents a profit, and if we hadn’t agreed to such a release clause, Collins may not have come in the first place.
The club gets lambasted, when in reality, they may not have much choice in the matter. Tricky one, really.

I remember that, absolutely laughable.
Based on his his debut performance I think, but he has come on leaps and bounds in every game since.
We have one hell of a talent here.
