Has anyone out there got experience of a good Website designer??

I have a website that is setup and running but we are having difficulties with it.

It uses wordpress but we don't have anyone to help us out with it.

Any advice?

Are companies like the two listed above likely to want to take on a website that someone else has designed?

I run a digital agency, but we are more focused on digital marketing than web design, per se.

As a guide when choosing somebody to work on a web project:

a) be 100% clear on the project objectives
b) be candid and realistic with your budget from the start (it will cost money, every agency has a different pricing model.)
c) be prepared to invest in content - written/photographic/illustration - this is the hard part
d) don't get sucked into complex and bespoke development, when this is NOT necessary (if it's a basic SME website, consider Wix/Swift/Squarespace etc)

Every agency has a sweetspot, make sure you're hooking up with an agency who can do what you need, at the price you're prepared to pay.

If you can get your domain and hosting sorted, and install Wordpress + Elementor, there are plenty of templates that you can import for free and have a nice looking site set up.

Thank you for your replies. I have often found this site useful for off topic subjects and there is rarely scope for the usual suspects to turn it into an argument!
