I remember watching Rocky do push-ups on the turf at half time in one game. I think it was some kind of record attempt

That wasn't Rocky... it will have been the late Tommy Gildert who was doing a Guiness World record attempt and succeeded.

It was, Tommy is my dad. Rocky once timed him doing a record though I believe. Pretty sure they used to train together back in the day, they would have been a similar age
