Simple question.
With Westwood not fit yet, will it be Cork?
It doesn't look as though any of the new recruits have the necessary experience, so who else is there?
Jay Rod or Barnes?

Looking like it’s going to be THB. Who else is certain starter in the entire squad?

At least it will be impossible for him to go down with the ship
Somebody has to stay afloat

Perhaps club captain. But starting eleven Captain will most likely be someone else

Why not?
Until it’s done we can’t say he’s going to captain.
Plus I imagine the loss of Collins could potentially alter his thought process

Cork was captain in the half he played against Rochdale, if that's anything to go by.

This potentially shows a lack of onfield leaders - Cork or Barnes would be favourites. Or maybe Roberts if he’s still with us (hopefully)

I think the second line will likely have an affect. He will know better than most that Collins is the best Cb in the championship and losing him will dramatically decrease his odds of eventually playing premier league

Not sure it'll be Cullen, only captained Anderlecht on a couple of occasions so not sure Kompany would give him the full time role here as a new addition to the dressing room.

I can see why people are saying Cullen, but has any new signing been given the captaincy straight away?

It's usually rare but I think Shackell was, wasn't he?
