Google only showing one result?

My computer has done an update overnight and now google only shows me one result whenever I google anything, which is a pain because it means I have to be really really specific about the type of porn stuff I'm looking for.
I presume there's some setting or other that has been changed during the update, but I can't find where it is, and obviously trying to search google for an answer is very frustrating.
Any ideas? Pertaining to this problem, preferably, but I'm always interested in new ideas generally.

When you google your question the 2nd answer is to turn your computer off and back on again... did you see that

Try to find a solution through a different search engine.

I've just searched for this issue on something called Bing and the top result is this thread....

If I sign out of my google account it all works normally, until I sign back in.

My search Engine is Ecosia, which uses Bing I think. Everytime I do a search it plants a tree. So far, it says, I've planted 153,958,436 trees, which is quite a lot.
