A Heartfelt Plea...A Little Patience, Please

As we all know, the club has/is undergone/undergoing major changes both on and off the pitch.
We've quite a few new players, a new manager and it's going to take time for them to get things
together, get used to each other and for the manager and his staff to settle into the best way of
doing things with regard to both the new players abilities and the ones that have been around for years.
So let's please not get on their backs, or start slagging them or each other off on here if things
don't click immediately, which in all likelihood they won't.
Let's get behind the lads and give all our support, and hopefully we'll
come out the back of the season in good shape.
Anyway, that's my twopence worth, such as it is.
Cheers.

Having gone to Sheffield Weds and being defeated badly, I was not impressed that day. But look how that season turned out.
I did post n here Penny should go back to Peru as he was at fault for most of the goals. To be fair he never really played again.
Hope there are no career destroying performances tomorrow

Nah, everything is ****, zillions in debt, we are run by Yank crooks who are asset stripping, a manager with no experience signing a load of kids and I wish Sean Dyche could have left the Prinny yesterday and slept in his managers office.
Scrap that, I’m in, I’m going to be patient and enjoy this like I enjoyed Miller, Casper, Mullen, Heath, Waddle, Ternent, Cotterill, Coyle, Laws, Howe and Dyche!
Up the Clarets!!

Try and accept its a new club being run like nothing to compare with in the past. Put the history and past in the memory box even think of it as a new club. If you can accept that, new club, new owners, new manager, new team, 1st time in championship and all of a sudden the expectation is replaced by excitement. Only then can you enjoy the ride.

I think on the whole most fans in the stadiums have been pretty good over the last few years with not too much negativity thrown towards the players.
My mentality is this is a new team, a young team, a young manager and they need nothing less than 100% backing all season..and that’s what they’ll be getting from me!!! UTC

Hey, don't worry, Burnley fans are known for their patience ...........
Totally agree Electro. I can't wait to be there tomorrow cheering them on. I'm fully expecting a season of transition and I can more than cope with that. Anything above a mid table finish will be a great achievement.
Come on Burnley!!!!

The players will be backed in the ground and slagged off on social media like it has for a while.
The players have my full backing, not so Alan Pace.

Patience will be the key I think. I’ll settle for consolidation this year. Let’s see how the plan develops thru the season, who makes the grade and who is moved on, and then hopefully those who have come up short will be replaced by those who do make the grade.
Proper push next year.
We shall see, but we KNOW one thing already…. It’ll be a better spectacle than last year.
