Said it when we signed him. He will be our signing of the summer.
Taylor will find it very difficult to get that role back

Great goal and great player. I was so envious of clubs loaning players like Reece James, Mason Mount. Now we have someone ourselves that could take this division by storm

Very impressive tonight. Chelsea don't half churn out some good players.

I wish we’d have bought him. Chelsea will be bringing him back if he plays like that every game.

Loved watching him.
Very much doubt we’ll see Taylor in that position again.

Played well but kudos to VK for the system. Hudds weren't able to cover that left hand side for our advanced midfield 3, who tactically were excellent. Lots to improve on but the signs are very very good after only the first game!

He wouldn’t go near a player like Maatsen, that’s why he’s now unemployed

He was quality. Wouldn’t worry about Taylor, he just walked through a Championship game at left centre back and was absolutely class.

Agree - he’ll have tougher tests but he was very good.

Just in the car on the way home and I was logging on to start this exact thread.
What a player - gets you off your seat every time he gets the ball (not that I was ever sat down). Looks brilliant!

Maatsen was absolutely quality and as VK joked as well as Cullen played, Maatsen should’ve been MOM. Charlie Taylor filling in at CB was imperious too.
Great performance, great start.

Just the latest in a long line of distinguished Chelsea loan signings that have put their stamp on……no, wait a second

He was by far the best player. Stamina in abundance. Work rate. Pace and acceleration and a good tackler. He'll go on to big things with Chelsea. I fear he'll be too good for us.

Not scared of a tackle too for a little un and energy to burn.
I was laughing with my mates at the game, it was the 96th minute and our furthest player forward was our left back, I know we can’t compare or look back to the wonderful things Dyche did but can you imagine his reaction on the sidelines if that happened under him

Rivalled Cullen for MOTM for me, and he took his goal with aplomb.
Exciting debut and if he plays like that every game he'll be a standout performer for us.
