The rovers fans that were there, were shouting so loud to make up for the small crowd, that after the game were feeling a "little horse"

It's the away end that's empty isn't it, QPR were in the top tier for some reason.

14k on apparently wouldn’t imagine qpr fetched many. But for the kompany factor doubt we would of had much more this season.

Totally agree. We had some pretty shocking attendances in the Premier League last season let’s not forget.
They, like us have a hardcore fan base and a few thousand that fluctuate depending on results etc.
Our 17/18k crowds would have looked miserable if our stadium held 30,000 last season in “the worlds best league”.

Blackburn is a lot bigger then Burnley,Blackburn have had over 30 years of owners subsidising them to a level beyond their wildest dreams. It is not really a football town and without all the hanouts they would be the same size and predicament of Oldham. Apart from some help from Barry Kilby which was paid back we have achieved our success the sustainable way.

You think our expenses are unsustainable? Lots of massive wages off the books (including SD), lots of exciting young players with massive potential recruited on Championship budget wages, new manager recruiting with a pay rise but still way cheaper than the guy he has replaced. OK we have some debt but it isn't anywhere close to the B**t**ds, Bolton, Sunderland or Portsmouth levels and really is sustainable, we may even make enough profit on our transfer business to pay it all back once Cornet goes for £20m!

ALK haven't been benefactors like Walker and the Venkys, we have just traded on what we generate.
