I've used mine for five season tickets and then match tickets for away games end of last season and start of this. Not much left on the gold card now but the plan was to get the money as quickly as possible.

Not had any issues.

I got my season ticket with mine and no issue, just wondered about the merchandise side .

I forgot about my gold card when I ordered my Wigan ticket, I'll remember for future away games.
I did use it to buy my season ticket though, and presumably I'll be able to buy a pie and a coffee with it on Saturday.

Yes, and yes. The gold card was read electronically but for some reason they wrote the details down on paper as well. Probably not confident (it was early days) that the system was foolproof.

(This was in the club shop.)

I've used mine to buy a t-shirt, sports bag, toiletries and aftershave.
I'm just waiting to see what the away shirts will be like then I'll be getting one each fir me and my lad.
You can also use any loyalty points you may have accumulated, or at least you could last season.

Oh, and I purchased my season ticket as well.

Online it should be just as easy as buying tickets - in the shop, I can't see why not, I've bought tickets over the counter at the ticket office with mine, just quoting my Clarets Number.

Just got back, no hassle shirt for me and the grandchildren. Gold standard !

I might be a being a bit stupid here but what is a gold card ? xD

Suprised more aren’t using the platinum card tbh, though it was invite only

Former shareholders got paid out half in cash and half in club credit. The club credit is registered on a gold card.

I couldn’t work out how to use it online for the club shop having successfully used it for my season ticket. There didn’t seem to be an option to use it.

So basically the points you get from buying at the club shop can’t be spent online at the club shop

The club said there would be an option to use the Clarets Gold card in the online club shop, but it's taking longer to implement than expected.

Likewise , been a godsend for big away games etc . The 25% off matchday booze n food comes in handy too .

I'm looking for ways to spend my credit.
I went shopping online hoping to use my gold card, but no option to use it yet.
Surely it can't be that difficult to organise?
