From what I can see no.
Bit odd to be playing it tonight? Unless it can’t be played tomorrow or sunday due to the commonwealth games?

If the police can’t handle two sporting events in a city the size of Birmingham then it is no surprise we didn’t get the world cup.

Whilst I agree with the sentiment, I don’t think policing is the reason why we didn’t win the World Cup bid.

We looked good against them a week ago but Uddersfield are looking a pale comparison of the side that finished strongly last season.

Lost their manager and their best two players. Looks as though it’s going to have an effect. As good as we were last Friday, they were awful.

Indeed. We were fantastic last week and couldn’t have asked for more with a group of players who barely know each other. But let’s not kid ourselves that Huddersfield are a good side, despite getting to last season’s play-off final. We also had the shock factor, Luton will be well prepared to face us tomorrow. Bigger test for sure.

I know you aren't dismissing how well we played last week but we'll see tomorrow how much was us and how much was Huddersfield being poor, I'm not discounting the former just yet.

Had Huddersfield along with Reading and Rotherham as my pre-season picks for relegation they have had an awful summer, manager gone, 2 best players gone and the fans hating the owner and want him to sell up, going to be a long season for them expect Schofield to be sacked by the time we return after the World Cup.

Absolutely not. We were fantastic. I just think a team set up to combat that style of play will be a bigger test. Huddersfield clearly didn’t have a clue what was coming and we put them to the sword in impressive fashion. They were also a team on a bit of a downer and early signs are that they’ll struggle this season.

It appears we’ve still got some way to go to replicate the 1970s Brazilian football team era.

I wore my best glasses last week. They rarely let me down. Through them I definitely saw a good performance.

Fairly sure TopClaret predicted we’d get pumped last week and the board would be in meltdown come 10pm.

If he keeps predicting that we will lose, he will get one right.

Udder's were well off it, against us.
As mentioned, they'd lost 2 of their best and an manager that got theem playing some good stuff last season.
Doesn't detract from big periods of cracking footy that we played though.
Think we'll need a few games though, to see where we're at.

How can they "be on it" if they didn't have the ball ?

Huddersfield look to be pretty crap this season. However that doesn’t detract from the point that Burnley were absolutely excellent and never gave them a sniff.

Lost 4 key players, probably their 3 best too. Colwill back to Chelski and Sinani back to Norwich.
