Yep. Diving in Vs Luton and not following the runner last Friday have cost us points. He also misses far too many chances and is shocking when it comes to taking free kicks.

A lot of people are suggesting a front 3 but Kompany only used that to combat Luton's 3 centre backs and then against Watford as he was expecting them to use 3 centre backs (as Edwards had done in every single game of his management career prior to Friday). Playing a front 3 did not even remotely work against Watford's back 4 and it was only when we switched away from that formation at half time we started to create anything of note. Hull play a back 4, so I don't think we should use a front 3.

Should use the formation that worked well against a back 4 (Huddersfield and Watford 2nd half)

However, I think Bastien showed some real excellence v Watford at times, and if Twine was fit I'd have him as a 2 with Josh behind Twine and Benson/Tella up top

part of me thinks Barnes is being kept in because of his height for defensive set pieces. I'd start Jay though

And I like Roberts, but in this current set up, and with Cork and Cullen both screening and pivoting, I think Vitinho is a better option

With the health warning that some of this depends on energy levels given we played Friday and play again Saturday, and so it's possible there'll be some rotation at full back in particular.

Can absolutely make a case for retaining Benson over Vitinho or Tella but I think Vitinho and Tella are a little more robust and that's something we need right now. From what I understand Hull are a fairly physical side so this will be a test.

I think that you and I are the only ones to put McNally in
It’s pretty clear that Taylor is not a C/H and Mattsen can be an attacking midfielder
Playing McNally helps defensively Taylor can push on and we can put Corners into the box with McNally there too

I think there are limited options. Has to be Jay Rod and Barnes otherwise, I can't see a goal in us.

Muric is a given and the back four look quite settled so why change them?

Cullen, Cork and Brownhill are a given.

So, the only place left is whether you replace Bastien for a bit of pace. On this occasion I wouldn't....!

The only other question is whether to wear a coat or not it's starting to look a little ominous out there.
