Everyone who wants to go will get a ticket. I'd be surprised if we move 5500 on a Tuesday night when on Sky. (Not saying we won't sell out). This based purely on Wigan making general sale when the match is a Sat and not on Sky.

The vast majority who didn't have enough points but attended simply used someone else's clarets number that did have enough points.

If you want a ticket to any game prem or championship you can get 1 if you know the right person

Even easier this season. Sold out means nothing

If you're on the windup it's probably not worth it. Everybody who wants a ticket for Preston will get one, personally don't see us selling out on a Tuesday night.

I don't know what it's like now, but for years the ticket office staff always held tickets back for certain fans, who could have as many as they wished, also certain ex directors weren't shy at providing tickets to people they knew. I would guess things have been tightened up recently, but as some have said, there is always a way.

Just bought an extra three tickets and looks like just over 1000 sold. I’d expect more middle seats down the sides of the stands to become available soon (if that makes sense!)

Hes clearly stating that if you know who you know, you can source tickets the way others cant

And proper supporters are the ones that travel far and wide to the away games not necessarily attending home games as often.

I agree. Also the shambles at the ticket office, after they've messed up my Wigan tickets I'm considering just watching it at the local.

Anyway, if someones banned, they can just use someone else's clarets number

A lifetime Turf Moor ban doesn't apply to away games, so although you'll not have a season ticket to buy an away one, if you can use someone else's clarets number there's no laws being broken.

Also if its you that has the ban, aslong as your ban from the authorities are up, go down to the Turf and they may revoke the automatic life time ban BFC usually impose once convinced for football related disorder ( if they're still foing that as standard practice these days )
