It’s not just him. All of the top coaches are seriously bad losers and will defend their side using every pathetic excuse they can come up with.

Exactly! Tuchel blamed Chelsea's 3-0 reverse at Leeds on the fact they had to make the trip north by bus.Tricky Trevor wrote: ↑Tue Aug 23, 2022 3:12 pmIt’s not just him. All of the top coaches are seriously bad losers and will defend their side using every pathetic excuse they can come up with.

My favourite was they ran out of time. If only someone would have told him how long a game of football is

Re: Klopp
I don’t understand comments like this. He’s taken Liverpool to the top for several years. Hugely charismatic and quite grounded.
They’ve got off to a bad start but will recover, however catching Man City is probably unlikely.

Not sure if your are suggesting that Dyche is a bad loser or whether you are saying that he isn't a top coach?Tricky Trevor wrote: ↑Tue Aug 23, 2022 3:12 pmIt’s not just him. Kane Williamson
Took the World cup defeat with great humility, then went on to win the Test Championship with New Zealand

Re: Klopp
Nobody is catching City this season tbf. They have too much quality, and have won 4 out of last 5 titles. The Liverpool win in the Covid season was a blip and I think we'll see a Bayernesque domination of the PL for a good few years yet.
Chelsea & Liverpool will be some way behind scrapping for 2nd.

Agree Pep is streets ahead of any other manager on the planet so as long as he stays at City their dominance will continue

Re: Klopp
That would be their dominance of English football. Still haven’t proved themselves in Europe and with the backing Pep has been given they should have.Devils_Advocate wrote: ↑Wed Aug 24, 2022 1:52 pmAgree Pep is streets ahead of any other manager on the planet so as long as he stays at City their dominance will continue

Re: Klopp
He's really good, him and Klopp both are, whether you like either character. Bit of a stretch to claim he's streets ahead of Ancelotti. Domestically, he's got an outstanding record but it'd be nice for him if he didn't go all weird in a big European game one season and actually win it.Devils_Advocate wrote: ↑Wed Aug 24, 2022 1:52 pmAgree Pep is streets ahead of any other manager on the planet so as long as he stays at City their dominance will continue

Re: Klopp
I think both would do fantastic cos at the end of the day they are both amazing coaches. I doubt they would be able to improve on Southgate as what he's done over the last 6 years is nothing short of outstanding but when Southgate goes I would happily have either one of these as his successor.

Definitely the fault of the referee and the groundsman I’m guessing.

Re: Klopp
People are not really comparing like for like with Pep and Klop. Klop is a top drawer manager without a doubt but he hasn’t got anywhere near the money to spend that Pep has. They are both top coaches but Pep has the edge with countless millions of oil money to spend. It would be good to see them swap jobs for two years and see what happens.
I do like Klop though because he does seem to be a decent bloke. People who criticise his moaning should maybe have a look at some of the posts on here.

The same grounded manager that said Ben Mee didn't have to make the tackle on Joe Gomez where he did on the pitch?LoveCurryPies wrote: ↑Tue Aug 23, 2022 11:12 pmI don’t understand comments like this. He’s taken Liverpool to the top for several years. Hugely charismatic and quite grounded.

They were completely irresponsible comments.
