Away from the rolling Lancashire hills view from the upper tier of the James Hargreaves Stand what would you say is the most picturesque ground view in the world?

Will kick things off with Monterrey.

Not quite as spectacular as some of the images posted above, but a nice backdrop nonetheless. SC Freiburg have since moved to a new stadium.

Tahuata in French Polynesia's not bad; though after the best part of a thousand years, I'm not sure if the terracing is still safe-standing compliant?

When I saw the thread title that ground was my first thought. Seen it before and it is absolutely stunning.

Always love looking up to the rolling hills above Burnley from my seat before kickoff and spotting the singing ringing tree 🙂

Took my daughter to her first game last season, the Wolves game, and we sat right in front of the press box. First thing she commented on was the view. I must admit it is great, it’s not Monterey but it’s pretty damn good Boss.

Settle's cricket ground has a lovely backdrop and sometimes a steam train going past.

There’s a video somewhere of a steam train going down the side of a pitch while there’s a game underway. I’m sure someone has seen it and/or has a link.

Not necessarily picturesque admittedly, but pretty interesting nonetheless.
