Not at our best tonight we gave away to much possession and missed several chances

I have too much emotion right now to comment on the awful performance of certain players.

Roberts didn't look interested all game to me but we didn't play well and we got a point so it's not all bad.

Difficult to know what to think about that result.
We were poor really yet should have won despite being second best.

A lot of sloppy passing, especially the second half. Were we a bit over confident allowing WBA to intercept etc?

Roberts will get the blame!
Rightly so I’m afraid. His performance tonight has been very poor. Couple of better performances recently from him but he stands out as a weak link, and a player we have alternatives to.

Maatsen also terrible tonight and I felt Cork looked shattered - lost the ball loads.

Very poor. Sloppy play all game

We've played much better and lost already this season

Hopefully an eye opener as to what's required

Take a point before the game but always feels like a loss when you concede so late.

Roberts has to take the blame for that at the end, watched it all the way onto his foot and reacted too slow, ending up in a shin role across the box. Maatsen also wasn’t up to much, but then again I don’t think the subs did anything to finish them off. Churlinov eager, that’s about it. Made wrong decision a few times.

Taylor MOM for me.

They cut us open all game and deserved a minimum of an equaliser.

Very ropey in the wings and looked very flakey

Could argue that that Barnes should have sealed it but that takes nothing away from an expected WBA goal.

Only West Broms shocking finishing prevented an earlier equaliser.

That's poor really. Barnes was awful sadly. Roberts - ffs.

Should have had more out of the officials there too. Penalty. Two shocking challenges on Jay and Guddy go unpunished.

But we dropped deeper and deeper and we paid the price.

Most of their opportunities came from us gifting the ball back to them, very poor in possession in situations when we were under very little pressure.

Well, the rest of the league know how to beat us now. Pressure the midfield and get high balls into the box. Eventually we'll crack. We need a dominant CH. Step up KL you're needed.

One of the most biased refereed games I have seen. Clear handball not given, several clear fouls not given and 8’ extra time.
A couple of the bookings were soft too..and yet Townsend follows through on JBG and nothing given. Ref has had a shocker there irrespective of the result.

Got what we deserved, ie we lost two points. Too much giving the ball away and missed chances. Learned tonight that Maatsen and Vitinho are no better than Charlie at full back. I think Taylor played well tonight and would be more disciplined than those two, so maybe bring in the new CH and play Charlie at LB. Roberts and Cork poor too-giving the ball away endless times. Luckily Jay and Tella were outstanding

Roberts sliced his blocked straight into the new guys path
We looked on for a rare win at WBA but we are on track still.Muric injured and Tella hope it's not too serious

I thought Roberts was a better player than that, awful the way he let that ball hit him and go back into the middle of the goal.

Roberts getting pelters, but the current team setup evidently does not support maatsen. Time and time again wba got in behind down his side to the point where VK took him off! The team looks far better with Vitinho at lb and a natural winger in his place

Worrying just how often we gave the ball away in our own third!
Lucky we weren’t battered for that fact alone!
However, what the chuff is Churlinov doing with that miss, but just as bad with Gudmundsson completely free at the back post? Barnes also with a shocking effort. Got to take at least one of those chances at this level surely?

We were very poor tonight. Sloppy all over the pitch, and low effort to get the ball back when we lost it.

Could it be because it was the second game in 4 days?

How many has he scored this season? We can’t afford to carry players who don’t score. We learnt that last year.

Would really have liked that hand ball in their box to have been called. Could have wasted a good two minutes just taking it. Hah. Got a feeling we'd have hit the post with the pen anyway the way things were going.

Might be the worst I've seen us this season.

Thought there was a bad foul on Gudmundsdon in the attack prior to the goal but ref missed it. Hard on the defence but we didn’t seem to be able to retain the ball and probably hit what we deserved.

Go on, I'll bite, why not? 3 touches.
1st a brilliant flick-on.
2nd a great turn (might have had a bit of luck) to get clear.
3rd a woeful shot over the bar.

There's not a lot to moan about, there.

Yes possibly although same for them.

Think it’s just a case of facing a good team, sometimes you have to accept there are other good teams around.

We created enough chances to kill the game in that second half.

7 of the 8 minutes added on to retrieve the ball from someone's back garden from Barnes effort. Obviously a fair result but feels like a defeat with the goal being so late.

Hugely disappointing to let it slip in the dying seconds, but I'd have been happy with a point prior to KO, so onwards to Norwich now.

Being harsh if we are to stay in the promotion race we really do need to stop throwing away leads, it happened against Blackpool, and it's happened again tonight with the last kick of the game.

Still 6 games unbeaten now, so it's not all doom and gloom.

We played poorly, didn't dominate possession for the first time this season but stood up to them. Great learning curve for the defence.

Could have won it at the end. Good point though.

We didn’t deserve to win to be honest. Left it too late to take cork off for me . He had a stinker today, eeepcially after his yellow. A point at the hawthorns though is a point gained . Regardless of the timing of the equaliser. They should have scored way way before that.

We could have killed it off but didn’t .

Maatsen can’t defend and needs to learn fast.
Churlinov looks like he is going to be a real player for us.
Tella - causing chaos

We were poor tonight and lucky to be ahead at half time.
When you watch the second half though all the big chances are ours and WBA had some very, very favourable decisions.
A point a fair result overall but never nice to concede so late.

Calmed down, as others said a point before kick off was a good point.

The other positive is we need games like this to grow, you learn far more from games like this than winning 5-1 at Wigan, and there was a lot to learn.
