Duff & Hal Robson Kanu
To be honest I prefer HRK, very well spoken and good comments
Re: Duff & Hal Robson Kanu
Duff all the way for obvious reasons.

Very fair. Both sound intelligent too unlike some.

The Sky woman had no idea who they were or why they were there, she was asking Duffer the WBA questions, and vice versa.

Worried that Robson-Kanu would kick lumps out of the Hawthorns pitch.

Re: Duff & Hal Robson Kanu
Not true. She's actually very knowledgeable about her football. At the end she was asking Duffer about his match tomorrow and knew who they were playing etc.dougcollins wrote: ↑Fri Sep 02, 2022 10:51 pmThe Sky woman had no idea who they were or why they were there, she was asking Duffer the WBA questions, and vice versa.

Re: Duff & Hal Robson Kanu
Well she must have become confused as to who played for who, because she was asking the wrong person the wrong questions. Duffer was smiling as he realised what was happening.
Before her time I suppose.

Re: Duff & Hal Robson Kanu
They didn't say much of interest at all which is quite usual. Both failed to point out regarding WBA's transfer window that they brought in early two top players that were first team ready, Wallace and Swift. Although I didn't think much of Swift last night, Wallace was excellent.

Re: Duff & Hal Robson Kanu
Thought all three were excellent.
Can’t agree with Wallace being excellent when he got near the corner flag he had no end product and passed back yards and lost all his side’s momentum
Thought he looked a league 1 player

As a matter of interest , if a woman presenter is poor is it misogyny to point that out ? As blokes get roasted if they’re off key . I studiously avoid nearly all live football punditry so I’ve no idea if this woman was prime Motson or a sozzled Clare Balding .daveisaclaret wrote: ↑Fri Sep 02, 2022 11:03 pmCasual misogyny on uptheclarets, I can hardly believe it

Re: Duff & Hal Robson Kanu
Absolutely - extremely lazy to call it out as such. It was irrelevant to me if the presenter was man or woman.AlargeClaret wrote: ↑Sat Sep 03, 2022 1:36 pmAs a matter of interest , if a woman presenter is poor is it misogyny to point that out ? Re: Duff & Hal Robson Kanu
Michelle Owen is perhaps the best of the female presenters, not too full of herself like most of the others. Did EFL on Quest when Colin Murray was not available and was a match reporter on Gillette Soccer Special for a good few years so she has done her apprenticeship.
