Couple of matchday questions…

Alright so I’ll be making a long awaited return the Turf for the Norwich game (I’ve been living in New Zealand for over 10 years) and wondering two things…
1) Can I still pay at the turnstiles or do I need to go ticket office first?
2) Where’s the best place to park the car these days (ideally free)?
Thanks in advance. UTC

Not been cash on turnstiles for good number of years. You will need to get a ticket from the office or online which you will then get via email to scan
Parking is dependent on the direction you are travelling from/to but if get there soon enough you’ll be able to park on Queen Vic road or the car park for the park

Safe journey back to Blighty and hope you enjoy the game.
Just a reminder that all the facilities at The Turf are now cashless so you'll need your debit card if you want to buy a half-time pie
Or a credit card if you want a Twix..

But you do need cash if you want to buy a programme

Thanks for the replies

I guess just ordering tickets online on the day and scanning in off the mobile should be simple enough.
Hopefully 3 points incoming!

You’d think, but nothing ever seems that simple - would buy a few days ahead to save yourself any stress mate.
I park at Towneley Park, £1.50 cash or you can get an app. You can usually find some free parking on Todmordon Road if you’re early enough.
Enjoy the game.

Sorry to hijack the thread, but got a ticketing question which seems appropriate. I've got an OAP season ticket which I want to upgrade to an adult for the Norwich game. Does anybody have an idea what they'll charge me?

Not 100% but think it is something like the price of the adult ticket for the stand it is in minus the price of the season ticket divided by 23.

Season ticket Bob Lord same price as we pay in upper tier
JH Adult tkt £455 ÷ 23 = just under £20 a tkt
Jh Senior tkt £262 ÷ 23 = just under £12 a tkt
That means its £8 +/- to upgrade surely

No boss you are you are charged the single matchday ticket price of the one you are buying so if it was £40 for an adult tomorrow you would knock off the price of a senior ticket which if those prices are right would leave a charge of £28.

Fair enough ... I didn't know ... I was just saying how much the price difference was between adult and senior/concession

Tut tut tut surely not
The person who used my Late Brothers ticket for the 2nd half of last season was in his 60's but not quite a pensioner ... The money they spent on drinks etc was money my Brother (he was a tight git

god rest his soul

he would laugh at my pointing that out and nod his head) wouldn't have spent and also he (the chap who used the tkt) has bought a season card for this season too

...
