Winners of the top three divisions 50 years ago 1972/73 season
Liverpool
Burnley
Bolton
Paddy Power odds this time around
6/1, 6/1, 19/1 quite a payout on a £10 accumulator
throw in Huddersfield to repeat their feat from that season of being relegated and you're really in the money (if it all happens)

980/1 the odds for the treble.
For those who don't understand betting, if you put £10 on the 3 teams to win their leagues, you lose £10

You'd get massive odds if the 4th Division winners also win League 2.If memory serves me right it was another Lancashire side.....Southport

Have a punt on Barrow as NorthWest surprise winners.

Really? If you were a bookie, would you be paying out in mid September? I know I wouldn’t with over 3/4 of the season to go. Silly statement.

But we’ve been reliably informed this week, Sheffield Utd are running away with the championship.

Nothing if they’d bet on the Liverpool, Burnley, Holton treble!
