Pity Taylor injured. Thought he was just settling in to CB role

Mrs Vino and I have got our colours on and are just about to set off for the Underground Bar in Benalmadena. It’s still 25 degrees and sunny here, so we might need a couple of cold beers to cool down.

Think Barnes was only ever in the squad because we didn't have other options.

Looks more like the Huddersfield set up where we brilliantly moved it between the lines and through the centre with pace and impetus
I think we caught Huddersfield by surprise as noone had seen us play but with Tella and Jay instead of Costello and Barnes hopefully we can see us have that kind of impact against a more prepared opposition.

Barnes is only at the club because he triggered his own contract extension. Sad but true.

To be fair though we did need him earlier on when there were no back ups for Jay and Twine was out injured. Was hoping to see the new striker last week when Jay was exhausted, but maybe today.

Scrub this I thought it was Bastien not Benson so hopefully its more a Millwall like performance

And he had a wonderful opportunity to play himself into VK’s plans, but ultimately didn’t.
Shame, as he’s been outstanding for us and
One of the best VFM players we’ve ever had, but his time is over. We’ve moved on and are now doing something different. Jay rod seems to be adapting well, but I’d still like another one up top.

Blimey Barnes isn't even in the squad today, yet he's still being scapegoated.
The only surprise for me is Benson retaining his place, but the rest as expected, and plenty of attacking options off the bench if needed.

He isn’t being scapegoated. He’s being discussed sensibly and rationally. Stop with the over reaction tiger, no need for it.

Fine and he wouldn't get in the squad for me when everyone is fit, but if we have an injury crisis he might yet be required over the course of a long season, as he was in our first few games when no-one else was available.

Who is missing today from the squad today? Barnes, Twine, Darko, Taylor & McNally. Anyone else?

Kev Long, and there's probably a few others, can't recall them off the top of my head.

Does that bar always show our games? Out there in October so would be nice to watch one

Said a few weeks ago we may have seen him play his last game-ditto Lowton, Long. We have brought in some good players who deserve a chance, and these guys should not be denied the chance at the expense of someone like Barnes who has had numerous chances to show what he can do.Like the way VK has gently done this
