My first thought too, every time, but actually the current team has more than a smattering of tricky wingers so I think I'd have to go for Ings. He'd get an absolute bag full.

Depends how far back you go really. Away from the old versus new argument comparatively to other teams some players in our 60s and 70s division one teams would be a lot better than any recent players.

Same goes for players from even earlier times.

The most naturally gifted player I've ever seen in the Burnley shirt. We've had some class players over the years from Mac to Martin Dobson, Trevor Steven, Glen Little and Steven Defour, but Jimmy Mac was on a different level. A sublime footballer and a pleasure to watch each time he pulled on the Claret shirt.
