Streaming on holiday

I’m going away in October. Annoyingly miss Sunderland away, which I’d have gone to, the rescheduled Norwich game and Reading. 😡😡😡

No problem, I thought, I’ll just buy the games on clarets+… but Greece isn’t listed as a destination where they’re available!!!!!

Has anyone been using streams this season? If so how readily available/reliable are they? Or do I need to get a VPN to pretend to be in one of the obscure places clarets+ is available? Mozambique or Gabon!!!

Has anyone got any experience of doing this on an iPad because I don’t have a clue what I’m doing.

Any help much appreciated.

Is that because the games were on Sky? Don’t think any of these are, despite Norwich originally being a televised match.

That’s reassuring, if I could get it.

Portugal is apparently not on the list of countries you can stream from like Greece though…

I used Calretsplayer in Spain, and will be doing in October.

One requirement was you needed to be on a local Wi-Fi connection.

Brill, thanks 👍🏻

Although not sure that helps. I can’t access SkyGo abroad (unless a VPN can mask it so I’m in UK?) so I can’t access the service I pay an arm and a leg for, yet also can’t access it on clarets+ because it’s on Sky?

I used Sky Go with Express VPN when on holiday in France to watch the Huddersfield game.

Hhmmm, I think it depends on the territory where you are staying and if the game has been selected for coverage there, you may get it in a bar? May I ask which country you are going to? I mean Island in Greece...

Mykonos. Which I’ve also heard from UTC is crap and expensive (after I booked it), so starting to wish I’d just left it & stayed at home

I’ve got Clarets player or whatever it’s now called, paid the tenner whilst in Spain last week and watched the PNE game without issue.

Buxton claret often posts a link to a stream, they always work a treat. I've no idea how he manages to find them. But I'm eternally grateful! 🙌

Good luck with Mykonos NewClaret. Hope your bank account is healthy. Just got back last week after almost emptying mine.
Watched the Preston game on my phone using a dodgy Sportek stream. Worked okay in Birra Birra, which I recommend if you're into good beers.
Hope you don't have 5 cruise ships and their hoards visiting at the same time as we did. And don't expect to spend much time on any beaches unless your prepared to pay 50Euro min. for 2 beds.
