Please can anyone advise if the train station is within walking distance?
Searched on here and the official site but nothing posted.
Also, what pubs are away friendly in Coventry?

Thats the nearest one only a few mins away. The Black Horse on Longford Road has closed apparently which was away friendly. There's a pub called JK English jn the same road is supposedly OK for away fans. About 10 mins from the ground. Most the pubs on Longford Road are home fans only

Is the casino located under the ground still there? We managed to get beers in there on our last visit.

Timetables for the strike day have been released. There are pretty much no trains after 5pm.

The shopping car park next to the ground will let you park for 2 hours then will issue a fine but if you spend £50.00 or more in the shops and keep the receipts you can park for 5 hours. Some fans do the weekly shop in Tesco and then head to the game.

Possibly the busiest supermarket I've ever had the misfortune to drive to for one item whilst at a conference. This wasn't a match day and it was chocker

Turnstiles open from 90 minutes before kick-off, operating ticket barcode scanners on entry, so please make sure you have your ticket ready and it is in good condition.
Food and Drink (soft drinks and alcohol) is available within the South Stand concourse from 90 minutes before kick-off. All kiosks are cashless.

Make sure that you wrap up well. Every time that I've been there it's been cold. One time I was actually shivering and shaking as it was so bloody cold. Something about the way the stadium is built maybe?
