Might not be a surprise but a football match at noon on a Sunday is still absolutely pathetic

Not a surprise that either game has been moved.

The only sensible option for this match (particularly without the usual 'bubble')

Probably for the best as long people don't start drinking on the Saturday.

Thing is, and I know its sensible, but I now have to choose between watching my lad play football or going to the derby
Its a bit **** really

It's annoying but expected, I have the same dilemma. The Sheff United one is more disappointing. Probably the best away day in the league and a useless 12:30 kick off, spoils the day a bit.

Lunch time KOs are ****. That’s the whole day taken up, particularly if you don’t live nearby.

Rovers game time change mucks it up for us the other side of the world. Our big night out will now probably not go ahead, kick off for us Now 11pm Sunday night.

Would normally go to it as in laws live in Derbyshire
Not likely now I think

Not totally unexpected, but blinking annoying all the same. Luckily we can still make it, but have to be togged up for a show and meal at the Mechanics early evening. Others may not be so lucky, unfortunately.

I may be the only one happy with the fact that Rovers has been moved to Sunday lunchtime - dont arrive back from Hamburg with work until late on the Friday night, and was worried it would be an early kick off on the Saturday.
The Sheffield United move is a right ballache though

There isn't mate, I can watch us play the bastards whenever I want, but my kid will only be playing football for a couple more years before he turns into adult*

Half my team along with myself & my assistant are STH.
Our games usually have a 11am kick off.
If I didn’t put a request in for no game now and was scheduled one I’d only have to forfeit as I wouldn’t have enough players available
We won’t be the only team/club to do it. I wouldn’t be surprised if they don’t schedule any games that weekend tbh

I agree many will, it was slightly tongue in cheek following the meltdown when kids football was called off for 1 day recently

I will be heading back over to the UK for these two games (+ Crawley).

I don't want to get into a debate mate, but I get more pleasure out of watching my kid play as I know its only going to happen for a finite amount of time
I'm hoping for a cancellation of his game put it that way!

You’d obviously assumed, wrongly that I meant the Blackburn game, I’m well into retirement now but when my son used to play I wouldn’t have missed any of his games no matter who Burnley were playing. Our children are not children for long so go to his game and support him, he may not admit it but he'll be chuffed to bits.

Nothing wrong with putting your children first, just don't moan when things get in the way, plus that's harsh on kids wanting their game called off just to suit you

Accrington play at home Saturday so they were never going to be playing Saturday
Sunday at 12 is the only time this game could be played

What like every other year that teams play on Remembrance Sunday? Burnley fans always have to find something to complain about, and people say Liverpool always play the victim card.

Play with your son, in the garden and kick him accidentally! (Make sure you have 2 tickets, to soften the blow!)
