Anybody else gonna tune into another Southgate masterclass?

Depends on German team, if they experiment we may have a chance. If full strength they win 1-0 or 2-0

Not watching. I’ve become very uninterested in England, much prefer my club football.

2 changes. Walker and Saka who were played out of position against Italy replaced by Stones and Shaw.
A back 5 including Shaw and Maguire could be a fun watch.

No Kroos or Muller for Germany but other than that a decent side out

Didn’t even know England were playing, or who, until I saw this thread!

I said I wouldn’t but will tune in, just because there is nothing else to watch.

Definitely tuning in. I enjoyed the last game despite England’s insipid display. It’s more relaxing than watching us play as I’m not attached to the result. And I tend not to get worked up over Southgate’s bad tactical decisions. Life’s too short…

That Musiala is another from the German conveyor belt who gets big hype. I’ll be tuning in to see how he Sane and Havertz do against Maguire and Shaw.

You get the sense that behind the scenes everything is falling into place just at the right time and where I could see us maybe faltering at the Quarter Finals im now confident we'll reach the last 4.
I don't think the performance and result on the pitch tonight is that important but it would be nice for the 90k fans to get to give Southgate and his team a positive send off to the World Cup finals.
Big question for me is can Southgate take us from one of the top 4 in the world to actual winners and whilst Im not sure we've quite got the players to win it if anyone can make it happen then Gareth's the man for the job

Might watch the second half, after Only Connect and University Challenge.

Slight change of words, but the national anthem is still a dirge of a tune.

Might as well watch it as I have nothing better to do.
TBH it wouldn't surprise me if England win, if only to prolong Southgate's tenure and annoy people

I'm watching, I'd like Southgate to be successful as England manager, he seems a decent chap. I genuinely don't see it happening though

He’s not good with his feet, never has been, never will be. So, why the **** does Gareth Southgate insist on his team playing to his Goalkeeper’s weakness.

More to the point: why is Southgate even playing Pope?

Anyone else having problems accessing live Channel 4 coverage on the internet?

Far side lino is a clown. Gives Rice offside on the German appeal, he wasn’t, then gives a FK against James from 60yds away.

If you are in France, as your location says, it could be restricted. I’m in Ireland and can’t get it on sky through C4 on programme guide but can get it on C4HD through other channels.

I’m actually back living in Scotland now, managed to watch the last game ok. It seems the whole All 4 app is down at the moment. Annoying!

Tuning in to the first England match I've watched since the Euro Final.
What on earth has happened to England? They're sterile.
Great ball from Luke Shaw a few minutes ago for Sterling, though.

Played well in the last 10. Final ball poor from Sterling and Foden when an easy pass was on.

James having his poorest England performance, for me, and Sterling is his usual wasteful self. Neither has any confidence after their season so far at Chelsea.
Maguire has been much better tonight.

Yep! I went to watch a movie and the site was down, can't be certain but I suspect it's probably due to the volume of traffic, apparently there's some piffling footy match on tonight.

Poor.
James is awful.
Kane is so slow, how is he going to get on the end of anything?

Its not great, but two better final balls and a better finish from Sterling and we could be 3-0 up
Big improvement on what it has been
Bellingham/Rice in the middle looks good

Thought that was a decent half from England offensively, just lacking the final ball.
