Absolute crap 2 of ours booked for innocuous tackle yet Stoke got away with murder
Stonewall penalty missed

A. Decision Making 7 gave everything he could in their favour
B. Consistency - 22 consistently wrong
C. Fitness and Positioning - 20
D. Control and Authority - 15 helped by being totally wrong and us being a soft team

Penalty not given at 1-0 cost us the game. Absolutely useless

We don't make it hard for referees, we are just so bloody nice.
Where's our fight? I don't see a team fighting to win games.
Refs get away with giving the other teams the decision

it wasn't a pen, lad won the ball, Phil Bird and Westwood also didn't think it was a pen. He was still a crap ref though

If you deem a referee to be consistently wrong, then please let that be reflected in your mark. Their ability to apply the laws of the game consistently is either excellent… resulting in a score towards 25… or very poor… Resulting in a very poor score.

It wasn’t the non penalty that cost is the game. It was his decision to stop the game as they were kicking the ball out so Campbell could get treatment which then resulted in an uncontested drop ball for them which resulted in the goal

The referees in this league are unbelievably bad. How the hell does a league towards the top of our structure have such inept officials.

He didn't stop the game. They kicked the ball out and play should have restarted with our throw. We should have defendedfar better but we also shouldn't have been put on the back foot by the referee.

He was clueless but not as clueless as the linesman on Bob Lord stand side.

If we want to grow the economy we should start exploring crap referees. We have a seemingly infinite supply, it would be a billion dollar industry

He did stop the game he blew the whistle before the ball went out of play hence the drop ball on the restart.

He blew as the defender kicked it but before it went out of play

I don't mind a ref if he's good or bad so long as he's consistent.
To book one player and then not book another for exactly the same offence just stinks.

Hopeless is an understatement.

Tella bursting clean through and his shorts being ripped from his @rris...he stays on his feet (too honest) and he didn't even have a word with their player. Yet Campbell dives over Harwood-Bellis legs with no contact and the book comes straight out. It was beyond ridiculous his ineptitude that first half.
Bensons foot stood on in the corner near the tunnel and he goes down..crowd shouts for why no free kick..and he arrogantly spreads his arms as if to say "what you all claiming for?" It was clear as day yet he didn't see it. Just not good enough at this level.

I can understand a Stoke player collapsing injured and his colleague kicking it out of play to waste even more time. Was it a serious injury? If it wasn’t why did the ref blow his whistle? Serious question I can’t remember what preceded the incident?

It was a feigned injury to enable Neil to have an impromptu tactical chat

He might have done, from the JHU it was impossible to tell, but why did he need to?
It wasn’t a serious injury, the Stoke player simply sat down and clearly wasn’t seriously hurt.
Stoke were kicking the ball out.
Why did he think it was appropriate to stop play a fraction of a second before the ball went out.
Baffling, like many of his decisions on the night.

Absolutely clueless. The never ending supply of these clowns in this league is laughable. Where are the next lot of so- called “elite officials “ coming from? Certainly not this lot.

I'm fairly sure that from my seat in the Jimmy Mac Upper that Delap caught Beyer with a forearm.

It wasn’t a serious injury so he shouldn’t have blown. He blew about 2 seconds at the maximum before the ball went out for a throw to us which we would have given back to them but it would have been back to the keeper rather than a drop to their feet almost on the halfway line. I’m not sure whether we realised whether it was a drop ball or not but the ref should not have blown in those circumstances.

Missed so many obvious Stoke players pushing players in the back, crap decisions to book first 2 Clarets and made a complete nonsense of the missed penalty and sending off offence. Consistently got decisions wrong by awarding free kicks the wrong way. Utter toss and should be thrown out of the game.
