I actually prefer the Scottish ones. A bit more spices/flavours in them.

I enjoy a traditional one, not messed with or spiced up. Just plenty of fat, because as we all know, fat = flavour.

Stick with chadders. Plenty of vinegar and a smear of mustard, bloody champion.

I have my Lancashire ones with mustard, but the Scottish ones don't need it.

Along with haggis, which is outstanding by the way, it’s the only offal based product I eat.

I'm coming back to the UK in a few days from Western Australia for a holiday, and one of the things I'm looking forward to is proper black pudding. (also looking forward to Lancashire cheese, potato pies and hopefully the fella selling black peas is still in Accrington.)

Those ones that used to be at the top of the stairs in the market hall (Donalds??)

Can't find any quite like them anywhere.

Scottish ones like Stornoway etc.

For local-ish Haggis - Brown's of Chorley. They also do blackpud.

Or you could try the Real Lancashire Black Pudding Company in Hadlingden. Black and White Puddings. Still allowed I think.

Good decision. Mary can't be beaten on back puddings. Fry for around 3 or 4 mins in beef dripping. With a teaspoon of English mustard (maybe a good piccalilli for the ladies) and serve with a bowl of mushy peas. Vinegar to taste.

Champion.

Seen air-fried and boiled mentioned but it’s sliced and fried for me slathered in english mustard.
