Always considered Valletta versus Floriana to be the big game in Malta although Sliema might have a thing to say about that!

Pastizzi is the plural of pastizz. The Crystal Palace bar in Rabat is considered the best pastizzi place. I was born in the nearby jewel that is Mdina

Reminds me of my bus trip to see Malta v Luxembourg.

I think it was 7 Euros (advertised 5). When I asked how come 7 the man at the gate said "5 the other side but 7 in the box and free beer".

It was free beer all night and food too! It was the Exec box with the wags!

Came out after the match, thinking bus would be rammed. Walked the 50 yards to bus stop. Bus comes in a minute. About 8 of us only! Got off to walk to hotel. Heard music and ended up in the Irish bar listening to super guitarist. Some Guinness's later we both stayed back to the hotel!

Magic night.
