A big if.......

Post by Devils_Advocate » Mon Oct 10, 2022 12:45 pm

If Klopp leaves Liverpool and VK gets offered and takes the job would you have Dyche back at Burnley?

For me it would be no as it would be a backwards step and I don't think Dyche would get a tune out of the current squad but Im sure some on here would jump at the chance to have him back

I think I've got more chance of 1) winning the lottery and 2) you growing a braincell one day than that happening.

There have been many pointless threads on here over the years
But this one surpasses anything that's gone before.

No.

Despite some fans complaining under Dyche of playing football in the air and now complaining that we're playing it on the grass, I'd like to think that we've turned a corner and even if VK left, the chairman would bring in someone to continue this style of football.

DA's got talent. Wakes up polishes his tackle and casts his line onto a flat mill pond, blinks in the sunshine, yawns & farts.(Not both at once cause that would be dangerous) Has a sip of coffee then waits for the dip of the float.

Spot on Zlatan. I was just going to post that I think the OP was being a bit humorous with the thread title and starting his post with a big IF. Could it have been a gentle cast to amuse and entertain? Mmm! Methinks there is more to this than meets the eye.

For the record I don’t want Dyche back ever. 2 rules I’ve always tried to live by apply here:
Never go back to an ex girl friend.
Never go back to an ex employer.
I once did, for temporary need, go back to an ex employer, and it was an unmitigated disaster. I eventually walked out in a Monday afternoon telling them to stick the job where the sun don’t shine. It kinda proved my point I think.
