2004. Alan Moore scored for Shelbourne away to Reykjavik in CL. In the following round he scored home and away against Hadjuk Split.

I came up with Alan Moore thinking about Irish players returning to play in Ireland. A possible is Paul McGee. Wiki says he played 15 times for Shamrock Rovers in 1984, after he’d been with us. It also states that he scored 5 goals and played 2 European Cup games. His record shows 9games, 4goals. If this is his league record the fifth goal is probably in the EC.
Still got to check on Keith Treacy and Chris McCann, who has played in the CL this season for Shamrock Rovers.
